How to add CleanProxies to VMLogin

In VMLogin, create a profile with New browser (or right-click one and choose Edit proxy configuration), tick Enable proxy server, set Proxy type to HTTP and paste your CleanProxies line with Paste proxy information. Click Test proxy and save once the test passes.

What you need

VMLogin's own rule is one unique IP per browser profile and one account per site in each profile. A CleanProxies static ISP IP fits that rule exactly: it is 100% dedicated to you, sits on a real US carrier ASN and stays the same all month, so the profile's IP never drifts away from its fingerprint.

Your credential line

From the dashboard's proxy manager: host (or IP), port, username and password. Convert lists with the proxy list formatter.

VMLogin ready

  • The VMLogin client installed and signed in.
  • For the local API check: My account → Enable browser automation settings, saved.

Which proxy fits VMLogin?

Both products use the same setup in VMLogin. What changes is how long an IP stays with you.

The natural fit for VMLogin's one-IP-per-profile rule: each profile gets its own dedicated US ISP IP that never rotates, with unlimited bandwidth and threads for long sessions.

starting from$0.75/IP

Dedicated static IPs registered to US and Canadian ISPs. The address stays the same for as long as you hold it, with unlimited bandwidth and HTTP(S) or SOCKS5 access.

Generate sticky lines (5 to 60 minutes or 24 hours) in the CleanProxies dashboard and import one per profile for shorter tasks. Rotating lines suit logged-out checks only, since every request can leave from a new IP.

starting from$0.63/GB

Residential IPs in 190+ countries with country, state and city targeting. Rotate on every request or hold a sticky session for up to 90 minutes; GB never expire.

credentials

Your CleanProxies credentials

Every product connects over HTTP(S); static ISP and ISP subnet proxies also run SOCKS5 and IP whitelisting. This is what the dashboard gives you to paste into VMLogin.

Static ISP and ISP subnetHTTP(S)SOCKS5IP whitelist
IP:PORT:USER:PASS

One line per dedicated IP. With IP whitelisting on, the line is just IP:PORT and no password is sent.

Rotating residential and mobileHTTP(S)User:pass
HOST:PORT:USER:PASS

Generated in the proxy manager. The username carries the location and session you pick, so generate a new list to change them.

As a URL, for code and most toolshttp://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORTsocks5://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT

Use http:// even for HTTPS websites; the TLS session still runs end to end. The socks5:// form is for static ISP and ISP subnet proxies.

How to set up CleanProxies in VMLogin

Four steps, then check the exit IP with the free proxy checker.

  1. 1

    Open the proxy settings

For a new profile, click New browser and go to Setting proxy server. For an existing one, right-click it in the list and choose Edit proxy configuration.

  2. 2

Enable proxy server and pick the type

Tick Enable proxy server and set Proxy type to HTTP for the standard CleanProxies line. SOCKS5 also works for ISP proxies once SOCKS5 is switched on for that list in your dashboard.

  3. 3

    Paste the line

Copy HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD from the dashboard and click Paste proxy information. VMLogin fills IP address, Port, Username and Password; USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT is accepted too.

  4. 4

    Test proxy and save

Click Test proxy. VMLogin shows the exit IP with its country, city and time zone; save the profile once the test passes.

Batch import into existing profiles

The paste box takes a bare line, but VMLogin's TXT batch import needs the proxy type in front of every line. Select the profiles (Ctrl or Shift click, as in Excel), right-click and choose Batch import proxy to the selected profile, then pick the TXT file.

TXT batch importText
HTTP:HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD
HTTP:HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD
SOCKS5:HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD
  • Need cookies too? Export the Excel template with Export selected cookies to Excel, fill in the proxy columns, and answer Yes when Batch Import Cookie asks whether to override the proxy settings.

Let the IP set time zone, location and WebRTC

  • Turn on Enable setting time zone based on IP. A time zone saved in Preferences is applied to new profiles first, so clear it if your profiles open on the wrong zone.
  • Tick Fill geolocation based on IP so the browser's location matches the US ISP address.
  • Use WebRTC replacement mode with Auto detect IP for the public IP, so WebRTC reports the proxy address. WebRTC calls need UDP, which CleanProxies doesn't carry, so voice and video inside a profile won't use the proxy.

Export, share and automate

  • Right-click → Batch export proxy of the selected profile writes the current proxies to a TXT file: a quick record of which ISP IP belongs to which profile.
  • Profiles can be shared or transferred to another VMLogin account (also through the REST API). A shared profile keeps the same identity, so don't paste its IP into anyone else's profiles.
  • With Enable browser automation settings on, the local REST API runs on 127.0.0.1:35000 for starting profiles and testing proxies from scripts.

Troubleshooting VMLogin proxy errors

Verify your exit IP

Test proxy reports the IP, country, region, city and time zone the profile will use. With browser automation enabled, you can test a line from a terminal before you assign it (urlindex picks the lookup: 0 ip234, 1 VMLogin, 2 ip-api.com).

Open What is my IP? through the proxy to see the address and headers a website receives, or paste up to ten lines into the free proxy checker to test connectivity, latency and exit IP.

Still stuck? Our 24/7 support team answers fast: contact us with the error and the line you used (leave the password out).

VMLogin error fixes
  • Batch import skipped lines or set the wrong proxiesWhy: The TXT lines have no proxy type in front.Start every line with HTTP: (or SOCKS5: for SOCKS5-enabled ISP lists). Only the paste box accepts bare HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD.
  • Test proxy fails with SOCKS5 selectedWhy: SOCKS5 isn't switched on for that ISP list, or the line is residential, which is HTTP(S) only.Switch on SOCKS5 for the ISP list in the CleanProxies dashboard, or set Proxy type back to HTTP.
  • Profile time zone doesn't match the IPWhy: Enable setting time zone based on IP is off, or a fixed time zone in Preferences was applied when the profile was created.Turn the IP-based time zone back on in the profile and clear the Preferences value.
  • The site flags a new profile anywayWhy: The same IP is shared by several profiles, or the fingerprint's timezone and language don't match the IP.Give every profile its own dedicated ISP IP and let the browser match timezone, geolocation and WebRTC to the proxy.
  • 407 or an authentication prompt inside the profileWhy: The password was pasted with a trailing space, or the line was split in the wrong order.Paste the full HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD line again from the dashboard.
