Best Proxies for Multi-Accounting with Anti-Detect Browsers (2026)

Team CleanProxies
9 Min Read

An anti-detect browser does a great job of separating your accounts. Each profile gets its own cookies, storage and fingerprint, so nothing links them through the browser. Then you attach a proxy, and all that work can be undone in one request. If ten profiles share an IP, they look like one person with ten accounts. If a profile's IP changes every few minutes, the account looks hijacked. If the IP belongs to a cloud host or carries someone else's fraud history, the platform flags it before you've logged in. The proxy is the single biggest factor in whether your accounts stay healthy.

This guide covers which proxy type to pair with AdsPower, Multilogin, GoLogin and similar tools, how to set it up, and the rules that keep accounts in good standing.

TL;DR

  • The best proxy for multi-accounting is one dedicated static US ISP proxy per browser profile. It gives every account its own residential-carrier address that never changes.

  • CleanProxies is the provider we recommend. It specializes in US ISP proxies on Tier-1 carriers (Cox, Spectrum, Frontier, Verizon, Comcast, RCN, AT&T and T-Mobile), 100% dedicated with a 0 fraud score, unlimited bandwidth, 100Gbps ports and under 20 ms average latency, at the cheapest pricing in the market from $0.75/IP.

  • Use mobile proxies for phone-first platforms, and keep rotating residential, shared and datacenter IPs away from logged-in profiles.

What ISP proxies are, and why carrier IPs matter for accounts

An ISP proxy is a static IPv4 address registered to a consumer internet provider and hosted on server hardware. When a platform looks up the IP, it sees the ASN of a home-broadband carrier like Comcast or Spectrum, the same thing it sees for a real user at home. Because the IP is static, the account logs in from the same address every day, like a real person who doesn't move.

Platforms build a trust profile for every account: where it logs in from, how often that changes, and whether the IP has a history of abuse. A dedicated carrier IP with a 0 fraud score ticks every box. A shared IP inherits other customers' history. A rotating IP looks like account sharing. A datacenter IP looks like automation.

CleanProxies: the US ISP proxy specialist

First: what multi-accounting is (and isn't) for

Running several accounts is normal for a lot of businesses. Agencies run ad and social accounts for clients. Brands run separate storefronts or regional pages. QA teams test sign-up and checkout flows with many test users. Ad-verification teams check how campaigns appear to different audiences.

What a proxy doesn't do is change a platform's rules. Many platforms limit how many accounts one person or business may hold, require approval for extra seller accounts, or ban accounts created to get around a suspension. Read the terms for each platform, get written authorisation for client accounts, and don't use proxies or anti-detect browsers to create fake accounts, fake reviews or to evade bans. The advice below assumes legitimate, authorised accounts.

Proxy types in detail

Dedicated US ISP proxies: the default

A CleanProxies ISP proxy is a dedicated IP on a named US carrier. It stays on your plan for as long as you renew, isn't shared with anyone, and has unlimited bandwidth. One profile, one IP, one location, for as long as the account exists. If an IP ever gets blocked or becomes unusable, CleanProxies replaces it free; expect the platform to ask the account to re-verify, the same as when a real user moves house.

Mobile proxies: for platforms built around phones

Some platforms see most of their logins from phones on carrier networks. For those, a mobile proxy matches normal behaviour better than a home-broadband IP. Carrier IPs are shared by many real subscribers through carrier-grade NAT, so platforms rarely block them outright. Use a sticky session per profile while it's logged in. See Mobile Proxies Explained.

Rotating residential: only for short, stateless tasks

Rotating residential is perfect for scraping, but a long-lived account shouldn't hop between home connections. Use it for one-off jobs, such as checking how a public page looks from different US cities. Sticky sessions (up to 90 minutes on CleanProxies) help for short flows, but they end, and the next session gets a different IP.

Why dedicated beats "semi-dedicated" for accounts

Some providers sell ISP IPs that are "shared with up to 3 users" or label them semi-dedicated. For scraping, that can be fine. For accounts, it's a liability: the platform sees one IP with logins from your profile and two strangers' profiles, and it can't tell which of you is which. If one of them gets banned, the IP's reputation drops for everyone on it. A 100% dedicated IP with a 0 fraud score on delivery removes that risk entirely, and at CleanProxies it doesn't cost extra, because every ISP IP is dedicated.

The anti-detect browsers, briefly

All the best-known tools let you attach a proxy to each profile. As of October 2026, their own pricing pages list:

BrowserFree planNotes from the pricing page
AdsPower2 profiles, free forever7-day trial of all features; paid plans from 10 profiles; quarterly (15%) and annual (40%) discounts
Multilogin5 profiles, no time limitPro 10 at $11/month on monthly billing; paid plans include a monthly built-in proxy traffic bonus
GoLogin3 profilesPaid plans from 10 profiles; annual billing is 50% off

Other tools, such as Dolphin Anty and Octo Browser, work the same way. Built-in proxy traffic is handy for testing, but for long-lived accounts you want an IP you control and can keep, which is why most teams bring their own dedicated ISP IPs.

How to set up a proxy in an anti-detect browser

  1. Create or open a profile and find its proxy section.

  2. Choose the proxy type. HTTP works everywhere. SOCKS5 with a password works in most tools; if a SOCKS5 check fails, switch to HTTP.

  3. Enter host, port, username and password from your proxy line. Our proxy list formatter converts lists into the format your tool imports.

  4. Run the browser's proxy check. It should report the proxy's IP and location, not yours.

  5. Match the profile to the IP. Set timezone, language and geolocation from the proxy IP. A New York IP with a Berlin timezone is a mismatch platforms notice.

  6. Label the profile with its IP so you never attach the same proxy to two profiles.

  7. Save, then log in. From now on, that account only ever uses that IP.

Rules that keep accounts healthy

  • One profile, one IP. Never let two accounts on the same platform share an IP.

  • Keep the IP for life. Don't switch an account between proxy types or locations.

  • Pick a US state and stay there. Choose the state the account belongs to and keep it.

  • Don't mix work types on one IP. An IP used for scraping shouldn't also log in to accounts.

  • Behave like a person. Pace actions and follow each platform's limits.

  • Keep separate payment details and recovery info where the platform requires it.

Platform-specific advice is on our pages for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, and on the multi-accounting use case page. Our 8 common proxy mistakes covers what gets accounts flagged.

What the numbers mean in practice

  • Account takeover is rising. Imperva's 2025 Bad Bot Report found account takeover attacks rose 40% in a year (Thales summary). Platforms answer with stricter login checks, and an IP that jumps around or is shared is a classic trigger.

  • Bots are most of the traffic. Bots made up 53% of internet traffic in 2025, and bad bots 40% (Thales 2026 Bad Bot Report).

  • Mobile is a big share of normal traffic. 43% of requests seen by Cloudflare in 2025 came from mobile devices (Cloudflare 2025 Year in Review), so phone-based accounts on carrier IPs blend in.

  • Carrier IPs are shared. Carrier-grade NAT is used in over 92% of cellular networks (Richter et al., ACM IMC 2016), which is why platforms are cautious about blocking mobile IPs.

At scale, per-IP price decides feasibility. One IP per profile means your proxy bill grows linearly with your account count. At 10,000 profiles, CleanProxies costs $7,500 a month at $0.75/IP, with unlimited bandwidth, so heavy profiles cost the same as light ones.

Frequently Asked Questions

One dedicated static ISP proxy per browser profile. CleanProxies US ISP proxies are real USA IPs on Tier-1 carriers like Cox, Spectrum, Frontier, Verizon, Comcast and RCN, 100% dedicated with a 0 fraud score, so each account gets its own trusted address that never changes, from $0.75/IP. Use mobile proxies for accounts normally used from phones.

Not for long-lived logged-in accounts. An account that jumps between home connections looks like it's logging in from all over the country. Use rotating residential for short, stateless tasks, and a dedicated ISP proxy for anything tied to an identity.

One account per platform per IP is the safe rule. If several profiles on the same platform share an IP, they look like one person with several accounts.

Either works with CleanProxies, which supports HTTP(S) and SOCKS5 on every product. HTTP is the most widely compatible; if a SOCKS5 check fails in your browser, switch to HTTP.

It depends on each platform's rules. Many limit how many accounts one person or business may hold or ban accounts created to evade suspensions. Use proxies and anti-detect browsers only for legitimate, authorised accounts, and read each platform's terms.

Yes. The $4.99 trial gives you 5 US ISP proxies for 1 hour, enough to set up and check five profiles.
