How to add CleanProxies to AdsPower
In AdsPower, click New Profile, open the Proxy section, choose HTTP (or Socks 5), enter your CleanProxies HOST:PORT in Host:Port plus the proxy username and password, then click Check Proxy and OK.
What you need
- An active CleanProxies plan: static ISP proxies for fixed US IPs, or rotating residential / mobile proxies for pools. The trial works too.
- Your credential line from the dashboard's proxy manager: host (or IP), port, username and password.
- The AdsPower app installed and signed in.
New to proxies? For the overview, read Best proxies for multi-accounting and Best static residential (ISP) proxies. This guide goes deeper on AdsPower only.
Your CleanProxies credentials
| Product | Line in your dashboard | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Static ISP proxies | IP:PORT:USER:PASS | One line per dedicated IP. With IP whitelisting turned on, the line is just IP:PORT and no password is sent. |
| Rotating residential and mobile | HOST:PORT:USER:PASS | Generated in the proxy manager. The username carries the location and session you pick, so generate a new list to change them. |
Most tools want the same details as a URL: http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT for HTTP(S) or socks5://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT for SOCKS5. The examples on this page use those placeholders; copy the host, port, username and password from your CleanProxies dashboard. To convert a whole list at once, paste it into the proxy list formatter.
How to set up CleanProxies in AdsPower
- 1
Start a new profile
Click +New Profile and scroll to the Proxy section. - 2
Choose the proxy type
Select HTTP for the standard CleanProxies line, or Socks 5. HTTPS and SSH are also offered but aren't needed here. - 3
Fill in the fields
EnterHOST:PORTin Host:Port, then Proxy username and Proxy Password from your dashboard. Leave Change IP URL empty. - 4
Check and save
Click Check Proxy. Connection test passed means you're ready; click OK to save the profile.
Import many proxies at once
Open the Proxies list and click Add Proxy, then paste one proxy per line. AdsPower's documented formats include these (the part in braces is an optional remark):
HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD{profile-01}
HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD{profile-02}
IP:PORT{whitelisted-isp}Use the remark to tie each IP to an account name. To change many proxies later, export the list, edit the file and upload it again (up to 1,000 per file on paid plans).
Read the proxy status
- In the Proxies list, the Outbound IP shows green for passed, red for failed and grey when not checked yet.
- Run a bulk check after importing so failed lines stand out before you assign them.
- Keep timezone, WebRTC and geolocation consistent with the US IP in each profile's fingerprint settings.
Static ISP vs rotating residential in AdsPower
Static ISP proxies
Recommended. One dedicated US ISP IP per profile keeps every account on its own address for months, and unlimited bandwidth means RPA runs never hit a data cap.
Rotating residential proxies
Use sticky lines from the CleanProxies generator, one per profile, for short logged-in sessions; use rotating lines for logged-out research. The Change IP URL field is meant for mobile proxies and isn't needed.
Verify your exit IP
Check Proxy confirms the connection. When the profile opens, AdsPower's start page shows the IP and location; compare it with the line in your dashboard.
Open What is my IP? through the proxy to see the address and headers a website receives, or paste up to ten lines into the free proxy checker to test connectivity, latency and exit IP before you start.
Troubleshooting AdsPower proxy errors
| Problem | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Connection test failed | Host and port pasted into one field together with the credentials, or the wrong type selected. | Host:Port gets only HOST:PORT; username and password go in their own fields. Use HTTP. |
| Import skipped some lines | Lines in a format AdsPower doesn't parse. | Convert the list to HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD with the proxy list formatter. |
| The site flags a new profile anyway | The same IP is shared by several profiles, or the fingerprint's timezone and language don't match the IP. | Give every profile its own dedicated ISP IP and let the browser match timezone, geolocation and WebRTC to the proxy. |
| 407 or an authentication prompt inside the profile | The password was pasted with a trailing space, or the line was split in the wrong order. | Paste the full HOST:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD line again from the dashboard. |
