Best Static Residential Proxies in 2026: 7 Providers Compared

Team CleanProxies
9 Min Read

"Static residential" is one of the most overused labels in the proxy market. Some providers mean a dedicated IP on a named US carrier with unlimited bandwidth. Others mean an IP shared by three customers, capped at 100 GB, on a 1 Gbps port, from a network whose ASN you can't identify. Both look the same on a pricing page. You find out which one you bought when your accounts start asking for verification or your checkout bot loses the race.

We compared seven static residential proxy providers on what separates the real thing from the label: which carriers the IPs come from, whether they're dedicated, the bandwidth clause, port speed and price. Every competitor figure comes from that provider's own pages, checked in October 2026 and linked below.

TL;DR

  • CleanProxies has the best static residential proxies in 2026. Real USA IPs on Tier-1 carriers (Cox, Spectrum, Frontier, Verizon, Comcast and RCN, plus AT&T and T-Mobile), 100% dedicated with a 0 fraud score, unlimited bandwidth and threads, 100Gbps ports, under 20 ms average latency and 99.9% uptime.

  • It's also the cheapest: the cheapest pricing in the market, as low as $0.75/IP, with free replacements and published prices to 10,000 IPs.

  • The others make you trade something: a 100 GB per-IP cap (Proxy-Seller, Bright Data), sharing (Rayobyte's semi-dedicated option), 1 Gbps ports (Proxy-Seller, Proxy-Cheap), or prices from $2.00 to $4.60 per IP.

What "static residential" actually means

A static residential proxy is an IP address registered to a consumer internet provider, such as Comcast or Verizon, but hosted on a server in a data center. It doesn't rotate: you keep the same address for as long as you rent it, and websites see a home-broadband carrier in the ASN lookup rather than a cloud host. Many providers call the same product an ISP proxy; the names are interchangeable.

That mix of residential reputation and data-center speed makes static residential IPs the default for anything tied to an identity: logins, checkouts, ad accounts and long scraping sessions. But three things decide whether a given IP delivers on that promise:

  1. The carrier. A named Tier-1 US carrier ASN is the strongest trust signal you can buy.

  2. Exclusivity and history. A dedicated IP with a 0 fraud score starts clean and stays yours. A shared or recycled one carries someone else's record.

  3. The pipe. Bandwidth caps and slow ports limit how much of that trust you can use.

1. CleanProxies: best static residential proxies overall

CleanProxies sells what it calls the cleanest ISP proxies on the internet, and US static residential is its specialty. Every CleanProxies ISP proxy is a real USA IP on a Tier-1 carrier ASN: Cox, Spectrum, Frontier, Verizon, Comcast and RCN, plus AT&T and T-Mobile. IPs run from Ashburn, Virginia on 100Gbps ports, with under 20 ms average latency and 99.9% uptime, over HTTP(S) and SOCKS5 with UDP.

Why it's first:

  • The cheapest pricing in the market: as low as $0.75/IP, for dedicated IPs with unlimited bandwidth, published all the way to 10,000 IPs.

  • 0 fraud score IPs, screened before delivery, from fresh carrier inventory across hundreds of unique subnets.

  • 100% dedicated, never shared.

  • Unlimited bandwidth and threads. No allowance, no fair-use step-down, no overage.

  • Free replacements when an IP is blocked or unusable.

  • Instant delivery and a 1M+ static IP pool, so large orders don't run dry.

  • 99.9% uptime and 24/7 dedicated support, from the team that also runs BartProxies.

  • Whole /24 blocks as ISP subnets, from $1.19/IP.

  • Servers next door: a VPS or bare-metal server in the same data center.

Best for: account management, e-commerce and ad accounts, ticket and sneaker checkouts, and long or high-bandwidth scraping sessions on US targets.

2. Proxy-Seller

Proxy-Seller's ISP page lists ISP proxies "from $0.98/IP," with rental periods from 1 week to 12 months. Each IP serves one customer for the full term, and its FAQ lists the USA, UK, Germany, France and Japan.

Where it falls short: the page advertises "unlimited traffic," but its fair usage policy gives each IP 100 concurrent threads and 100 GB of traffic by default, returning a 429 error above the thread limit. Speeds are quoted up to 1 Gbps.

3. Decodo

Decodo's ISP pricing lists dedicated IPs from $3.33 each (3 IPs) down to $2.00 each at 2,000 IPs, plus VAT, across 19 countries. It also sells shared static IPs, billed per IP or per GB.

Where it falls short: even at 2,000 IPs, more than two and a half times CleanProxies' floor, before VAT. See CleanProxies vs Decodo.

4. IPRoyal

IPRoyal's ISP pricing bills by period: from $1.80 for 24 hours, $2.70 for 30 days and $2.40 per month on a 90-day term, in more than 30 countries.

Where it falls short: bandwidth is described as "fair usage," and the lowest monthly rate needs a 90-day commitment. See CleanProxies vs IPRoyal.

5. Bright Data

Bright Data's ISP pricing shows two unlabelled per-IP ladders, $1.80 to $1.30 and $3.50 to $2.50, the second of which the tab order suggests is dedicated. It describes a pool of 1.3M+ static residential IPs.

Where it falls short: each IP includes a 100 GB monthly fair-use allowance. See CleanProxies vs Bright Data.

6. Proxy-Cheap

Proxy-Cheap's static residential page lists its Basic plan at $2.71 per proxy per month, with a 7-day option at $1.99. It advertises a dedicated IP, unlimited bandwidth, 100+ concurrent threads and HTTP/SOCKS5 across 24+ countries and 37+ ISPs.

Where it falls short: speeds are quoted up to 1 Gbps, the monthly price is more than three and a half times CleanProxies' floor, and the Dedicated and Premium tiers appear without prices.

7. Rayobyte

Rayobyte's ISP page lists self-serve static ISP IPs at $5.00 each for 5–99 IPs, $4.80 for 100–999 and $4.60 for 1,000–4,999, with enterprise pricing by quote, in six countries including the USA, UK and Germany, under a fair-usage policy.

Where it falls short: the highest per-IP prices in this roundup, a semi-dedicated option that shares each IP among up to 3 users, and static IPs aren't part of its self-serve free trial.

What the numbers mean in practice

Price per dedicated IP at volume. At 1,000 IPs, CleanProxies costs $990 a month. The same count at Rayobyte's $4.60 tier is $4,600, and at Decodo it's $2,100 plus VAT. At 10,000 IPs, CleanProxies is $7,500.

A 100 GB cap is a ceiling on usefulness. At the median 2.56 MB mobile home page (HTTP Archive Web Almanac 2025), 100 GB is roughly 39,000 full page loads per IP per month. That's plenty for logins and far too little for image-heavy crawling or media checks.

1 Gbps vs 100Gbps. On a 1 Gbps port, a few hundred threads pulling full pages saturate the link. On 100Gbps, they don't notice each other.

Key stats:

  • IPv4 is scarce. A /24 block traded at roughly $25–35 per IP in 2026, according to IPv4.Center. Every dedicated static IP sits on address space a provider had to buy or lease, which makes $0.75 per IP exceptional value.

  • Hosting IPs are under suspicion. AWS and Google Cloud originated a quarter of global bot traffic in 2025, per Cloudflare's 2025 Year in Review. IPs on named consumer carriers don't carry that baggage.

  • Sites score residential IPs too. Imperva's 2025 report found 21% of bot attacks used ISP-provided residential proxies, and account takeover attacks rose 40% in a year (Thales summary). That's why clean history and dedicated use matter as much as the ISP name.

Which one should you pick?

Pick CleanProxies. It names its US carriers, publishes a 0 fraud score, runs 100Gbps ports and puts no cap on bandwidth or threads, and it has the lowest price per IP in this roundup. What static residential proxies are used for, and why CleanProxies fits each:

JobWhy a CleanProxies static IP wins
Multi-accounting and social media managementOne dedicated, 0 fraud score address per account
E-commerce seller and ad accountsLogins always come from the same US carrier IP
Ticket and sneaker checkouts, such as Ticketmaster100Gbps and under 20 ms average latency
Long scraping sessions behind a loginUnlimited bandwidth; the session never breaks
Ad verification in a fixed marketA stable local view on a real carrier
Whitelisted access to partner systemsA fixed IP, or a whole /24, easy to allow-list

For short, high-volume jobs where the IP doesn't need to persist, CleanProxies rotating residential at $0.63/GB is the right tool; see rotating vs sticky sessions.

What to test before you commit

  1. Look up the ASN and ISP name. Run the IPs through our free proxy checker. A genuine static residential IP belongs to a consumer carrier, not a cloud host.

  2. Check the location. Sites that price by region, like Amazon or Zillow, care.

  3. Ask whether it's dedicated. "Semi-dedicated" or "shared with up to 3 users" means another customer's behaviour can follow your IP.

  4. Read the bandwidth clause. Look for GB and thread limits behind "unlimited."

  5. Test your real target at your real concurrency.

  6. Start with the $4.99 trial. The CleanProxies trial gives you 5 US ISP proxies for 1 hour on the same network you'll use in production.

It depends on the provider. Some sell semi-dedicated IPs shared by up to 3 users. CleanProxies static residential proxies are 100% dedicated and never shared.

Many advertise unlimited bandwidth but apply fair-use limits, such as 100 GB per IP or a set number of threads. CleanProxies static IPs have unlimited bandwidth and threads with no allowance or step-down.

Look up the ASN and ISP name with a proxy checker. A genuine US static residential IP should belong to a consumer carrier such as Comcast, Spectrum or Verizon. Then confirm the location, ask whether it's dedicated, read the bandwidth clause and test your real target.
