Best Instagram Proxies in 2026: Mobile vs ISP, 5 Providers Compared
Updated 3 November 2026: mobile prices and policies were read from each provider's public pricing page on this date, with screenshots; dedicated ISP rates are dated where they appear.
The best Instagram proxies in 2026 are real 4G/5G mobile proxies with sticky sessions, plus dedicated static ISP proxies when you work from a desktop or profile browser and want one address that stays the same for the whole month. CleanProxies ranks #1 for both. Our Instagram proxies run on mobile proxies as low as $0.79/GB (data never expires) and 100% dedicated US ISP proxies as low as $0.75/IP with unlimited bandwidth, the cheapest pricing in the market, with a $4.99 trial to test first.
This guide is for agencies, brands, creators and social media teams who run Instagram accounts they own or are authorised to manage, and who keep getting "suspicious login attempt" checks because their logins come from VPNs, shared office Wi-Fi, travel or cloud browsers. On 3 November 2026 we read the public pricing pages of four other providers that sell mobile proxies, priced the same workloads on each and captured the screenshots below that day. We also cover what Instagram's Terms of Use say, because a proxy gives a legitimate account a steady, honest connection. It does not make fake accounts, bought engagement or automated scraping acceptable.
TL;DR
Mobile proxies fit Instagram best. Instagram is a phone-first app and most of its members connect over carrier networks. A sticky mobile session keeps one carrier IP for a whole working session (up to 24 hours with us).
Static ISP proxies are the steady second choice. If a team runs accounts from desktop browsers or anti-detect profiles, one dedicated ISP IP per account gives an address that stays the same for the whole monthly term.
CleanProxies is the best Instagram proxy provider. Mobile from $0.79/GB in 150+ countries, GB that never expire, rotating or sticky sessions; dedicated US ISP IPs from $0.75/IP with unlimited bandwidth, HTTP(S), SOCKS5 or IP whitelist, delivered in seconds.
It is also the cheapest at every volume we priced. 100 GB of mobile data costs $179 with us, once, against $275 a month plus VAT at Decodo, $400 at Bright Data's discounted pay-as-you-go rate, $500 at Oxylabs and $520 at IPRoyal. 1,000 GB costs $1,290 with us.
Play by Instagram's rules. Its Terms ban fake or impersonating accounts, buying or selling accounts and automated account creation or data collection without permission. Use proxies to keep real, authorised accounts on a consistent connection, nothing else.

Why Instagram reacts to IP addresses
Instagram has more than 3 billion monthly active users (Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, 24 September 2025, as reported by Thurrott), so it guards logins tightly. Instagram doesn't publish how its security checks work, but the network patterns that commonly lead to "We detected an unusual login attempt" are well known:
Location jumps. A brand account that normally signs in from New York, then from a VPN exit in Amsterdam an hour later, looks like a takeover attempt.
Shared addresses. VPNs, co-working Wi-Fi, cloud browsers and shared proxies put many unrelated people behind one IP. Whatever one of them does affects how that IP is treated for everyone.
Hosting ranges. Datacenter IPs are registered to cloud and hosting companies. Phones and home routers don't browse Instagram from server racks.
A desktop IP on a phone app, or the reverse. It is not wrong in itself, but an account that always posts from a phone and suddenly works through a server range stands out.
Our own Instagram proxies page sums up the practical side: keep each account on one proxy location close to where its owner really is, keep accounts in separate browser profiles or devices (cookies, devices, phone numbers and email also link accounts), and pace activity like a person would, because action limits apply per account whatever the IP.
What Instagram's rules say (read this before you buy)
We read Instagram's Terms of Use and its help page on adding and switching between accounts on 3 November 2026:
Several accounts are a normal feature. Instagram lets you add multiple accounts and switch between them without logging out. Running a brand account, a personal account and a client account is ordinary use.
No impersonation, and permission for other people's accounts. The Terms say you "can't create an account for someone else unless you have their express permission" and must not impersonate anyone.
No automated account creation or data collection. You "can't attempt to create accounts or access or collect information in unauthorized ways", including "in an automated way without our express permission", whether logged in or not.
No buying or selling accounts or credentials. The Terms ban buying, selling or transferring any part of an account, and collecting other users' login credentials.
Proxies themselves are not mentioned. The Terms talk about how accounts are used, not about IP addresses.
So the legitimate use of an Instagram proxy is simple: give each real, authorised account one steady location and connection type, keep humans in charge of what it posts, and use Meta's official tools (Meta Business Suite, partner access and the Instagram APIs for professional accounts) wherever a client can grant you access instead of sharing a password. CleanProxies customers must follow our Terms of Service, Instagram's Terms and the law; this article is general guidance, not legal advice.
Mobile vs ISP vs residential vs datacenter proxies for Instagram
| Proxy type | IP behaviour | Network it looks like | Fit for Instagram | Best use |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mobile 4G/5G (sticky) | Same carrier IP for the session (up to 24 h with us) | A phone on a carrier network | Best fit | Day-to-day account work, especially phone-style traffic |
| Static ISP (dedicated) | Same IP all month | A home broadband line | Best fit for desktop work | One IP per account in a profile browser |
| Rotating residential | New IP per request, or sticky up to 24 h | A home connection | Fine for logged-out checks | Seeing how a profile, hashtag page or ad looks from a city |
| Shared ISP / shared "private" | Static, but other customers use it | A home line | Risky | Low-stakes tasks only |
| Datacenter | Static | A hosting company | Weak | Not recommended for Instagram logins |
Why mobile first? Carrier networks put many real phones behind shared IP ranges, which is normal on 4G and 5G, so a mobile IP is the most ordinary-looking connection Instagram sees. Mobile data is billed per GB, so plan for it: images and Reels are heavy. Why ISP as well? A dedicated ISP IP stays the same for the whole monthly term and has no GB meter, which suits a social media manager who keeps a browser profile open on an account all day. Read mobile vs residential proxies and rotating vs sticky sessions for the background.
How we compared
On 3 November 2026 we opened each provider's public mobile proxy pricing page without logging in. We read the per-GB prices, plan sizes, billing terms (monthly subscription, pay-as-you-go or one-time), session options and trial terms, and captured the screenshots in this article that day. We then priced three Instagram workloads:
100 GB of mobile data: a small agency or brand team running a handful of accounts through mobile sessions for a month.
1,000 GB of mobile data: a larger social team with many accounts and heavy Reels and Stories work.
100 dedicated static ISP IPs a month: a team that runs 100 accounts from desktop profile browsers, one IP per account.
We also ran our free IP lookup tool on a public Comcast address (75.75.75.75) to show what a carrier-registered IP looks like.
What we did not do: we did not buy competitor plans, log in to competitor dashboards, sign in to Instagram through any proxy or benchmark anyone's network. There are no speed, "ban rate" or success-rate numbers here, because we didn't measure any. CleanProxies network figures (100Gbps ports, under 20 ms latency on ISP, 99.9% uptime) are our published specs; our delivery times (about 3 to 5 seconds for mobile and 6 to 19 seconds for ISP, from payment to working proxies) come from our own live orders.
Scorecard: what each pricing page said on 3 November 2026

| Decodo | $275 + VAT a month ($2.75/GB at 50% off; $5.50 list) | Enterprise toggle, no card | $260 + VAT ($2.60/IP) | Billed monthly | decodo.com |
| IPRoyal | $520 ($5.20/GB) | Custom plan via sales; about $5,200 at the 100 GB rate | About $270 (from $2.70/proxy, checked 2 Nov) | Per package | iproyal.com |
Bright Data's and Decodo's mobile prices on 3 November were promotional (50% off) and may change. Estimates ("about") multiply the listed per-GB rate by the volume; they are not purchasable packs or quotes. Bright Data, Oxylabs and IPRoyal dedicated ISP rates were read with screenshots on 2 November 2026 for our LinkedIn proxy comparison. The three workloads are illustrative sizes, not measured customer usage.
1. CleanProxies: the best Instagram proxies, at the cheapest price in the market
CleanProxies mainly specializes in US ISP proxies on real carrier ASNs, and pairs them with real 4G/5G mobile proxies. For Instagram that covers both sensible setups: a mobile session for phone-style work and a dedicated ISP IP for desktop work. The network runs on 100Gbps ports with 99.9% uptime, and support is available 24/7 from people who know proxies.
Mobile proxies for Instagram:
Real 4G/5G carrier IPs in 150+ countries, including US mobile carrier IPs in the pool. You target the country (and an ASN where the country has a list); state and city targeting are not offered on mobile, and US wireless carriers can't be picked by name.
Rotating or sticky. Rotate on every request, or hold one IP for 5, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes or 24 hours, so a working session stays on one address.
Data never expires. Mobile GB are a one-time purchase that you top up when needed. No monthly commitment that resets on the 1st.
HTTP(S) with username:password, one gateway, and up to 1,000 proxy lines per generate call in the dashboard.
Instant delivery. Our live mobile orders were active 3 to 5 seconds after payment.
Mobile pricing: $1.79/GB at 100 GB ($179), $1.59 at 250, $1.45 at 500, $1.29 at 1,000 ($1,290), $1.09 at 2,500, $0.95 at 5,000 and as low as $0.79/GB at 10,000, paid once.
Static ISP proxies for desktop work:
100% dedicated, never shared. Every ISP IP is used by you alone, so no other customer's activity lands on your accounts' addresses.
Real carrier ASNs. US home internet providers (Frontier, AT&T, Comcast, Cox, RCN and fixed-line T-Mobile ranges) plus Telus in Canada; you choose the carrier at checkout. Super clean ranges with a 0 fraud score.
Unlimited bandwidth and threads, under 20 ms latency, static all month.
HTTP(S), SOCKS5 or IP whitelisting (1 to 20 IPv4 addresses), switched in the dashboard, so they drop into AdsPower, Multilogin, GoLogin, Chrome or Firefox.
ISP pricing: $1.49/IP at 100 IPs ($149 a month), $1.29 at 250, $1.15 at 500, $0.99 at 1,000 and as low as $0.75/IP at 10,000 (AT&T IPs are priced separately, down to $1.50/IP at 10,000). Pay by card (Apple Pay and Google Pay included) or crypto.
Why it ranks #1:
The lowest mobile price per GB at every volume we priced, and GB that never expire
Both setups Instagram teams need (sticky mobile and dedicated ISP) from one account and one balance
Dedicated ISP IPs under $1 from 1,000 IPs, with no bandwidth cap
Good to know:
Mobile proxies are targeted by country (150+) and, where listed, ASN, not by state or city, and connect with username:password over HTTP(S). For exact-city checks, use our rotating residential proxies (190+ countries, city targeting, from $0.63/GB).
ISP proxies are sold by country (USA and Canada) and carrier, not by state or city.
Purchases are final and IPs aren't replaced, so use the $4.99 trial (100 MB of mobile data, or 5 ISP IPs for 1 hour) to test in your own setup first.
Pricing checked on 3 November 2026: cleanproxies.com/pricing.
2. Bright Data
Bright Data's mobile proxy pricing shows four cards with a 50% coupon (RESIGB50) applied: pay-as-you-go at $4.00/GB ($8 list), $499 a month for 141 GB ($3.50/GB), $999 for 332 GB ($3.00/GB) and $1,999 for 798 GB ($2.50/GB). Above 1 TB the page says to contact sales.
Where it falls short for Instagram teams: even at the discounted rate, 100 GB costs $400 pay-as-you-go, more than twice CleanProxies' $179, and its cheapest per-GB rate ($2.50) is almost twice our $1.29 at 1,000 GB. The plans are monthly commitments: the FAQ says unused commitment does not roll over to the next month while the account is active, whereas our GB never expire. See CleanProxies vs Bright Data.
Pros:
Pay-as-you-go option without a monthly commitment
Shared, dedicated and pay-per-GB ISP options as well
Free trial and a first-deposit match up to $500
Cons:
$4.00/GB pay-as-you-go even with a 50% coupon
Monthly commitments that don't roll over
Over 1 TB means a sales conversation
Pricing checked on 3 November 2026: brightdata.com/pricing/proxy-network/mobile-proxies.
3. Oxylabs
Oxylabs prices mobile proxies through its shared subscription plans: $7.5/GB on the welcome credit (up to 0.7 GB) and the $30 Starter plan (up to 4 GB), $6.67/GB on the $100 Basic plan (up to 14 GB), $5/GB on the $500 Flexible plan (up to 100 GB) and $3.5/GB from 714 GB on enterprise plans that start at $2,500 a month. The page lists 140+ countries, location and ASN targeting and static 24-hour sessions.
Where it falls short for Instagram teams: 100 GB sits on the $500 Flexible plan, almost three times CleanProxies' $179, and the best $3.5/GB rate needs an enterprise plan from $2,500 a month. VAT may apply on top. See CleanProxies vs Oxylabs.
Pros:
Location, ASN and carrier targeting listed
Static 24-hour sessions
$5 welcome credit
Cons:
$5/GB at 100 GB on a $500 monthly plan
Best rate locked to enterprise plans from $2,500/month
VAT may apply
Pricing checked on 3 November 2026: oxylabs.io/products/mobile-proxies.
4. Decodo
Decodo (formerly Smartproxy) shows mobile plans at 50% off: 2 GB at $3.75/GB, 8 GB at $3.50, 25 GB at $3.25, 50 GB at $3.00 and 100 GB at $2.75 ($275), each plus VAT and billed monthly, plus pay-as-you-go at $4/GB. Plan features include 10M+ mobile IPs from 700+ carriers, HTTP(S) and SOCKS5 and city-level targeting.
Where it falls short for Instagram teams: 100 GB is $275 plus VAT every month, against $179 once at CleanProxies, and that rate is a promotion off a $5.50 list price. The regular plan cards stop at 100 GB, so a team that needs 1,000 GB goes through the Enterprise option. See CleanProxies vs Decodo.
Pros:
HTTP(S) and SOCKS5
City-level targeting listed
Pay-as-you-go option
Cons:
$2.75/GB at 100 GB plus VAT, at a 50% promo
Monthly billing
No regular plan above 100 GB
Pricing checked on 3 November 2026: decodo.com/proxies/mobile/pricing.
5. IPRoyal
IPRoyal's mobile pricing has a Rotating Proxies tab with four packages, 2 GB at $6.80/GB, 10 GB at $6.00, 50 GB at $5.60 and 100 GB at $5.20, and a separate Dedicated Proxies tab for rented mobile connections. The page lists 4.5M+ mobile IPs, "zero bandwidth and session limits" and auto-rotation.
Where it falls short for Instagram teams: 100 GB costs $520, nearly three times our $179, and the lowest listed rate ($5.20/GB) is more than six times our $0.79/GB at volume. Anything above 100 GB needs a custom plan. See CleanProxies vs IPRoyal or our IPRoyal alternative page.
Pros:
Rotating and dedicated mobile options
Instant IP change from the dashboard or API
Simple GB packages
Cons:
$5.20/GB at its largest listed package
No listed packages above 100 GB
Dedicated ISP from $2.70/proxy for 30 days, no volume tiers
Pricing checked on 3 November 2026: iproyal.com/pricing/mobile-proxies.
What the numbers mean for an Instagram team
A small agency on mobile (100 GB): $179 once at CleanProxies. The same 100 GB is $275 plus VAT a month at Decodo's promo rate, $400 at Bright Data's discounted pay-as-you-go rate, $500 on Oxylabs' Flexible plan and $520 at IPRoyal. If the team uses 100 GB a month for a year, that is $2,148 with us against $3,300 plus VAT at Decodo and $6,000 at Oxylabs.
A large social team (1,000 GB): $1,290 with us. Bright Data's largest card covers 798 GB for $1,999, so 1,000 GB is about $2,500 at its $2.50/GB rate; at Oxylabs' enterprise rate it is about $3,500. Both are estimates, not quoted packs.
A desktop team with 100 accounts (100 dedicated ISP IPs): $149 a month at CleanProxies, $260 plus VAT at Decodo, $275 at Bright Data and a $500 plan at Oxylabs, with no bandwidth meter on our side.
Unused data stays yours. A slow month doesn't waste money with us, because mobile GB never expire. Bright Data's FAQ, for example, says unused monthly commitment does not roll over while the account is active.
Which Instagram proxy should you pick?
CleanProxies, at every volume we priced. Choose the product by how your team works:
Mostly phone-style or mixed work, many locations: our mobile proxies. Give each account its own sticky session (30 or 60 minutes for a working block, 24 hours for a full day) in the country the account belongs to.
Desktop or profile-browser work on US or Canadian accounts: our dedicated ISP proxies. One IP per account, the same address every day of the term and kept as long as you renew it.
Logged-out checks (how a profile, hashtag page or ad looks to people in another city): our rotating residential proxies, with city targeting in 190+ countries.
Many teams use two: ISP IPs for the accounts they run every day from desktops, and mobile GB for phone-style tasks and accounts in other countries. Both live in one CleanProxies dashboard and one balance. Managing other networks too? See best proxies for social media management, TikTok proxies and best proxies for antidetect browsers.
How to set up an Instagram proxy, step by step
Map accounts to connections. In a sheet, give each account one proxy: either a dedicated ISP IP or a named mobile sticky session, in the account's home country. Never put many accounts on one IP or session.
Create one browser profile or device per account, with its own proxy. A profile browser such as AdsPower or Multilogin stores a proxy per profile; Firefox has its own proxy settings (Settings → Network Settings → Manual proxy configuration). A normal Chrome profile uses the computer's system proxy, so it can't hold a different proxy per profile on its own. On a phone, the Wi-Fi HTTP proxy setting applies to the whole device, so use one phone per account. Enter the proxy as HTTP (or SOCKS5 for ISP), with the host, port, username and password from your CleanProxies dashboard (ISP can use IP whitelisting instead).
Match the profile to the proxy. Set the browser time zone and language to the proxy's country.
Check the IP before the first login. Run it through the proxy checker, confirm owner and ASN with the IP lookup, and make sure the browser shows only the proxy IP with the WebRTC leak test.
Sign in normally and secure the account. Instagram may ask to confirm the first login from a new location; the account owner completes it. Turn on two-factor authentication.
Keep it consistent. Don't move an account between countries or swap its IP without a reason. With mobile, pick a sticky time longer than the working block (for example 60 minutes for an hour of posting and replies, or 24 hours for a full day). When the sticky time ends, the gateway can hand out a new carrier IP, so check the IP again before the next block.
Keep activity human. Post, reply and follow at a person's pace, and don't use tools that automate actions without Instagram's permission. For publishing and insights on professional accounts, Meta's official tools need no proxy at all.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Browser shows "407 Proxy Authentication Required" | Wrong username or password, or the IP isn't whitelisted | Copy the credentials again from the dashboard; for ISP whitelisting, add your current public IP. See how to fix proxy errors |
| The IP changed in the middle of work | A rotating mobile line, or the sticky time ran out | Generate sticky lines with a longer session time (up to 24 h) |
| Instagram asks to confirm the login | A new location or device for that account | Let the account owner confirm it, then keep the same proxy so it stays familiar |
| The IP lookup shows the wrong country | Wrong country picked when generating lines | Regenerate lines for the account's country |
| The proxy works in the checker but not in the browser | The profile isn't using the proxy, or WebRTC shows the real IP | Re-enter the proxy in that profile and run the WebRTC leak test |
Checklist: test an Instagram proxy before you commit
| Check | What good looks like | Tool |
|---|---|---|
| Owner and ASN | A mobile carrier (mobile proxies) or a consumer internet provider (ISP proxies), not a hosting company | IP lookup |
| Country | Matches the account's usual location | IP lookup |
| Blacklists | Not listed on spam or abuse lists | IP blacklist checker |
| Leaks | The browser shows only the proxy IP | WebRTC leak test |
| Session length | A sticky mobile session holds the same IP for the time you chose | Check the IP at the start and end of a session |
| Sharing | ISP IPs dedicated to you, never shared with other customers | The provider's plan page |
The fastest way to run this list on real proxies is the $4.99 trial: 100 MB of mobile data, or 5 CleanProxies ISP IPs for 1 hour. For a deeper walkthrough, read how to test proxy quality.
Key stats
Instagram passed 3 billion monthly active users, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said on 24 September 2025 (Thurrott).
Instagram's Terms of Use ban creating accounts or collecting information "in an automated way without our express permission", and buying, selling or transferring accounts (Terms of Use).
Instagram supports adding several accounts and switching between them without logging out (Instagram Help).

CleanProxies mobile goes as low as $0.79/GB.
Final verdict
CleanProxies is the best Instagram proxy provider in 2026. Real 4G/5G mobile proxies with sticky sessions up to 24 hours, as low as $0.79/GB with data that never expires, plus 100% dedicated US ISP proxies as low as $0.75/IP with unlimited bandwidth. It is the cheapest at every volume we priced: $179 for 100 GB of mobile data and $149 for 100 dedicated ISP IPs.
Bright Data: big network, but $4.00/GB pay-as-you-go even at a 50% coupon, and monthly commitments that don't roll over.

Frequently Asked Questions
A real 4G/5G mobile proxy with a sticky session, or a dedicated static ISP proxy if you work from a desktop or profile browser. CleanProxies ranks #1 for both: mobile proxies as low as $0.79/GB with data that never expires, and 100% dedicated US ISP proxies as low as $0.75/IP with unlimited bandwidth.
Instagram's Terms of Use don't mention proxies. They ban impersonation, buying or selling accounts, and creating accounts or collecting information in an automated way without permission. A proxy is fine as a consistent connection for real accounts you own or are authorised to manage; it never makes fake accounts, bought engagement or scraping acceptable.
Mobile proxies look like a phone on a carrier network, which is how most people use Instagram, so they are the first choice for phone-style work. Dedicated ISP proxies keep the same home-broadband IP all month with no GB meter, which suits teams that keep desktop browser profiles open on accounts all day. Many teams use both.
Plan for one account per IP or sticky session, each in its own browser profile or device. Sharing one IP across many accounts links them together and spreads one account's problems to the others.
At CleanProxies, mobile data costs $1.79/GB at 100 GB ($179, one-time), $1.29/GB at 1,000 GB and as low as $0.79/GB, and dedicated US ISP proxies cost $1.49/IP at 100 IPs and as low as $0.75/IP. On 3 November 2026 the same 100 GB of mobile data was $275 plus VAT a month at Decodo's promo rate and $500 on Oxylabs' Flexible plan. Test first with the $4.99 trial.
