CleanProxies vs Bright Data: Prices and Features Compared (2026)

9 Min Read

Bright Data is the biggest name in the proxy market, and its catalog shows it: proxies of every type, scraping APIs, an unblocker, a proxy manager, datasets and enterprise SLAs. For a buyer who just needs clean, fast US IPs for checkouts, accounts or scrapers, that breadth comes at a price. The ISP proxies carry a 100 GB per-IP allowance, residential list prices start at $8/GB, the lower rates sit behind $499 to $1,999 monthly commitments, and residential and mobile access requires a KYC review before you can start.

This comparison puts CleanProxies and Bright Data side by side on what decides results and cost for most proxy buyers: carriers, bandwidth rules, speed, IP quality, billing and price. Bright Data's figures come from its own pricing pages, checked in October 2026 and linked below.

TL;DR

  • CleanProxies wins on US ISP proxies. Dedicated IPs on named Tier-1 carriers (Cox, Spectrum, Frontier, Verizon, Comcast, RCN, AT&T and T-Mobile), 0 fraud score, unlimited bandwidth and threads, 100Gbps ports, under 20 ms average latency, from $0.75/IP. Bright Data's lowest listed ISP price is $1.30, with a 100 GB per-IP allowance.

  • CleanProxies wins on residential and mobile price. As low as $0.63/GB residential (Bright Data lists $5–$8/GB) and $0.79/GB mobile, with data that never expires and no monthly plan.

  • CleanProxies wins on simplicity. Every price on one page, no KYC wait, no subscription, and VPS and bare-metal servers next to the proxies.

What ISP proxies are, and why carrier IPs matter

An ISP proxy is a static IPv4 address registered to a consumer internet provider and hosted on server hardware. Sites see a home-broadband carrier like Spectrum or Comcast in the ASN lookup and trust it accordingly, while you get server speed and an IP that never changes. Named Tier-1 carriers, a clean history and dedicated use are what make that trust hold up on strict targets, and an unmetered pipe is what lets you use it fully.

CleanProxies: the US ISP proxy specialist

CleanProxies sells what it calls the cleanest ISP proxies on the internet. Its specialty is US ISP: every ISP proxy is a real USA IP on Cox, Spectrum, Frontier, Verizon, Comcast or RCN, plus AT&T and T-Mobile, on 100Gbps ports in Ashburn, Virginia, with under 20 ms average latency and 99.9% uptime. It's run by the same team behind BartProxies.

ISP proxies: 100% dedicated, 0 fraud score, unlimited bandwidth and threads, HTTP(S) and SOCKS5 with UDP, free replacements, instant delivery, as low as $0.75/IP.

ISP subnets: whole /24 blocks of 255, 510 or 1,020 dedicated IPs, from $1.19/IP.

Rotating residential: 50M+ IPs in 190+ countries, 19.7 million in the US, with state and city targeting and sticky sessions up to 90 minutes. As low as $0.63/GB, never expires.

Mobile: 10M+ real 4G/5G IPs on AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and more, rotating or sticky per request. As low as $0.79/GB, never expires.

Servers: VPS from $24/month and bare metal from $125/month, in the same facility as the proxies.

Support: 24/7 dedicated support at help@cleanproxies.com.

Bright Data: what it sells, and where it falls short

Bright Data is a broad data platform. Its proxy network sits alongside scraping tools, an unblocking product and a Proxy Manager, and its residential pricing page steers buyers above 1 TB to a custom Enterprise tier.

ISP proxies. Bright Data's ISP pricing shows two per-IP ladders without labels: $1.80 (10 IPs) to $1.30 (1,000 IPs), and $3.50 to $2.50 (the tab order suggests this one is dedicated). It describes a pool of 1.3M+ static residential IPs.

Where it falls short: each IP includes a 100 GB monthly fair-usage allowance, and the page says extra charges may apply above it. That's fine for logins and tight for image-heavy crawling or media checks.

Rotating residential. $8/GB pay-as-you-go, $7/GB on a $499/month plan, $6/GB on $999 and $5/GB on $1,999, with custom pricing above 1 TB. A code (RESIGB50) took 50% off for three months when we checked. It advertises 400M+ IPs in 195 countries with ZIP and ASN targeting.

Where it falls short: even at the promotional half price, the best list rate works out to $2.50/GB, about four times CleanProxies' floor. The lower rates need monthly commitments, and monthly plans reset. KYC is required before residential use.

Mobile. The mobile page describes 7M+ mobile IPs with city, ASN and ZIP targeting.

Where it falls short: per-GB and per-IP tables appear under a general heading without saying which apply to mobile, and mobile use requires KYC first. CleanProxies' mobile pool is larger (10M+) with a published $0.79/GB floor.

Platform vs specialist: why it matters

Bright Data's breadth is real. If you need a managed scraping API, a dataset marketplace and a dozen proxy products under one enterprise contract, that's what it's built for. But most teams that buy proxies already have their own scrapers, bots, anti-detect browsers and checkout tools. What they need from a provider is narrower and harder to get right: clean IPs on carriers the target trusts, a network fast enough for drops, bandwidth they don't have to ration, and a price that still makes sense at 10,000 IPs.

That's the job CleanProxies is built for. It focuses on US ISP proxies on named Tier-1 carriers, then adds the residential, mobile and server products those same teams need around them. You don't pay for platform features you won't use, and you don't wait on a KYC review or a sales call to start.

Switching from Bright Data

  1. Map each zone to a product: ISP to US ISP proxies, residential to rotating residential, mobile to mobile proxies.

  2. Size your first order from last month's usage. Residential and mobile GB never expire, so buying a larger tier at a lower rate doesn't waste anything.

  3. Export your new lines from the dashboard and swap them into your tools, keeping the same protocol.

  4. Run both side by side for a day on the same targets before you move everything.

What the numbers mean in practice

ISP proxies at volume:

CleanProxies (dedicated)Bright Data, first ladderBright Data, second ladder
1,000 IPs$990/month$1,300$2,500
10,000 IPs$7,500/month ($0.75/IP)Custom quoteCustom quote
BandwidthUnlimited100 GB per IP per month100 GB per IP per month

At 1,000 IPs, CleanProxies saves you $310 to $1,510 a month, and the bandwidth gap widens it. A CleanProxies IP carries as much traffic as you send it.

Residential per GB:

CleanProxiesBright Data listBright Data with 50% promo
Lowest rate$0.63/GB$5/GB ($1,999/month plan)$2.50/GB
10,000 GB$6,300, never expiresCustom quoteCustom quote
CommitmentNoneMonthly planMonthly plan, promo for 3 months

Allowances turn into overage. A 100 GB allowance across 1,000 ISP IPs sounds generous until a few hundred of them run image-heavy crawls or media checks. On CleanProxies there's nothing to track: every ISP IP has unlimited bandwidth and threads.

Two billing models vs many. Bright Data mixes per-IP, per-GB, pay-as-you-go and monthly commitments, plus promotions and Enterprise deals. CleanProxies uses two: ISP per IP, monthly, with no meter; residential and mobile per GB, one-time, never expiring. The unit price drops automatically as you grow.

Key stats:

  • Bots are now the majority. The Thales 2026 Bad Bot Report says bots made up 53% of internet traffic in 2025, and bad bots 40%. Sites score IPs harder every year.

  • Cloud IPs are the usual suspects. Cloudflare's 2025 Year in Review found AWS and Google Cloud originated a quarter of global bot traffic, and 40% of bot traffic came from the US. US targets watch hosting ranges closely, which is why named consumer-carrier IPs perform.

  • Sourcing is a risk factor. In January 2026 Google disrupted the IPIDEA residential proxy network after finding its SDKs in 600+ Android apps.
