How Much Do Proxies Cost in 2026? ISP vs Residential vs Mobile Pricing Explained
Proxy pricing is designed to be hard to compare. One provider bills per IP, another per GB, a third sells monthly credits that expire, and the "unlimited" plan on the next page has a fair-use threshold in the footnotes. Two quotes that look $0.50 apart can end up hundreds of dollars apart once you add VAT, unused data, a session step-down or a minimum plan size. If you're budgeting for proxies in 2026, the sticker price is the start of the question, not the answer.
This guide explains what each proxy type costs, why, and which fine print moves your real bill. Every competitor figure comes from that provider's own public pricing page, checked in October 2026 and linked inline. CleanProxies' prices come from our pricing page.
TL;DR
ISP proxies (static, carrier-registered IPs) list at roughly $1.10 to $3.50 per IP per month across the market. CleanProxies has the cheapest pricing in the market, as low as $0.75/IP, on real US Tier-1 carrier IPs (Cox, Spectrum, Frontier, Verizon, Comcast, RCN, AT&T and T-Mobile) with unlimited bandwidth.
Rotating residential lists at roughly $1.40 to $8 per GB on standard plans. CleanProxies goes as low as $0.63/GB, and the data never expires.
Mobile 4G/5G lists at roughly $2.25 to $7.50 per GB on standard plans. CleanProxies goes as low as $0.79/GB.
The fine print matters more than the headline. Fair-use caps, shared IPs and expiring data are where cheap plans get expensive. CleanProxies has none of them.

What ISP proxies are, and why carrier IPs cost what they do
An ISP proxy is an IPv4 address registered to a consumer internet provider and hosted on server hardware. Websites look up its ASN, see a home-broadband carrier like Comcast or Spectrum, and trust it like a real household. You keep the same IP for as long as you rent it, at server speed.
That trust has a real cost floor. Every dedicated ISP proxy is an IPv4 address the provider has to own or lease, and a /24 block trades at about $25–35 per IP in 2026, according to IPv4.Center. On top of that come carrier announcements, hosting and bandwidth. Very cheap ISP offers usually make up the difference with sharing ("shared with up to 3 users") or bandwidth limits ("100 GB fair use per IP").
CleanProxies doesn't. Its US ISP IPs are 100% dedicated, unlimited-bandwidth, 0 fraud score, and as low as $0.75/IP. That's what makes it the strongest value in the market, not just the lowest number.

Why residential is billed per GB: a rotating pool spreads your traffic across millions of household connections, and the provider's cost scales with traffic, not IP count. Volume discounts reflect the gateway's fixed cost spread over more traffic, which is how CleanProxies reaches $0.63/GB.
Mobile proxy prices
| Provider | Entry price/GB | Best listed price/GB |
|---|---|---|
| CleanProxies | Published tiers, no subscription | $0.79, the cheapest in the market |
| SOAX (US tier) | $5.00 (Sandbox) | from $0.85 (Enterprise) |
| Decodo | $3.75 (2 GB) | $2.25 (500 GB), on promotion |
| Byteful | $4.25 (10 GB) | $3.45 (100 GB) |
| Oxylabs | $7.50 | $3.50 (714+ GB) |
| IPRoyal | $6.80 (2 GB) | $5.20 (100 GB) |
Mobile costs more than residential because carrier IPs are scarce and shared. Cellular networks put many subscribers behind each public IP using carrier-grade NAT, which a measurement study found "over 92%" of cellular networks use (Richter et al.). That sharing is exactly why sites rarely block mobile IPs. Read Mobile Proxies Explained.
The four ways providers charge
Per IP (ISP). You rent specific addresses, usually monthly. Check whether bandwidth is truly unlimited and whether the IP is yours alone.
Per GB (residential, mobile). You buy traffic through a rotating pool. Check whether unused GB expire at the end of a month.
Per port or time (some mobile). You rent a mobile connection for a day or a month, and pay whether you use it or not.
Credits or subscriptions. Monthly plans with included spend. SOAX and Oxylabs both have plans in the $30–$3,000+ per month range, and your per-GB rate depends on which you're on.
Hidden costs to check before you buy
Fair-use clauses. Oxylabs' ISP fair use drops an IP from 100 to 10 concurrent sessions after 50 GB in a cycle. Bright Data includes 100 GB per ISP IP per month. CleanProxies ISP proxies have no allowance.
Shared IPs. A semi-dedicated IP inherits other users' reputation. CleanProxies ISP IPs are 100% dedicated and screened for a 0 fraud score.
Expiring traffic. Monthly plans that reset waste unused GB. CleanProxies residential and mobile GB never expire.
Taxes. Several providers, including Decodo and SOAX, show prices "+ VAT."
Minimum plan sizes and bundles. HypeProxies' smallest ISP plan is 50 IPs and Byteful's is 10. CleanProxies has no fixed bundles.
Commitments. Some lowest rates need a $1,999 or $3,000 monthly plan. CleanProxies' lowest rates need no subscription.
Restricted targets and KYC. Some providers restrict banking, streaming or ticketing, or require identity checks for mobile.
Slow networks. A proxy that times out costs you retries. CleanProxies runs on 100Gbps ports with 99.9% uptime and 24/7 support.
What the numbers mean in practice
These examples use CleanProxies' published volume prices. The workloads are illustrative.
| Scenario | What you'd buy | Monthly cost |
|---|---|---|
| Large account or sneaker operation, one IP per profile | 10,000 US ISP proxies at $0.75, unlimited bandwidth | $7,500 |
| Enterprise price monitoring across millions of pages | 10,000 GB residential at $0.63 | $6,300 (never expires) |
| Mobile-first social automation at scale | 10,000 GB mobile at $0.79 | $7,900 (never expires) |
| Whole /24 blocks for whitelisting | 1,020-IP ISP subnet at $1.19 | $1,213.80 |
| A server to run it all next to the proxies | VPS or bare metal | From $24, or from $125 |
Per IP or per GB? A CleanProxies ISP proxy costs the same whether it moves 1 GB or 2 TB, because bandwidth is unlimited. Residential, even at $0.63/GB, scales with every gigabyte. So if you push heavy, steady traffic through the same IPs (monitoring the same URLs, holding sessions, running bots), per-IP wins by a wide margin. If you need thousands of locations but moderate data, per-GB wins. CleanProxies sells both from one balance.
Key stats behind 2026 pricing:
Demand for trusted IPs keeps rising. Automated traffic was 51% of all web traffic in 2024, and bad bots 37% (Imperva 2025 Bad Bot Report).
Pages are heavy. The median home page weighs 2.56 MB on mobile (Web Almanac 2025). On per-GB plans, page weight is your biggest cost lever.
Cheap pools can carry hidden risk. In January 2026 Google disrupted the IPIDEA proxy network, finding its SDKs in 600+ Android apps that often didn't disclose that they enrolled devices.
Which provider should you pick?
Pick CleanProxies. It has the cheapest pricing in the market on every product it sells, and none of the fine print that inflates other providers' bills: no fair-use caps on ISP, no shared IPs, no expiring data, no subscription to reach the best rate. Its US ISP proxies run on named Tier-1 carriers with 0 fraud score IPs on 100Gbps ports, so the cheapest option is also the fastest and cleanest.
Match the proxy type to the job. Static US ISP for accounts, checkouts and long sessions; residential for wide scraping; mobile where trust really matters. Our ISP vs residential vs datacenter guide helps.
Buy the next tier up if you're close. CleanProxies' unit price drops with volume, so a slightly bigger order can cost less in total, and residential and mobile GB never expire.

Frequently Asked Questions
Across the providers we checked in October 2026, dedicated ISP proxies list at roughly $1.10 to $3.50 per IP per month, rotating residential at roughly $1.40 to $8 per GB and mobile at roughly $2.25 to $7.50 per GB on standard plans. CleanProxies has the cheapest pricing in the market: ISP as low as $0.75/IP, residential as low as $0.63/GB and mobile as low as $0.79/GB.
Every dedicated ISP proxy is a real IPv4 address registered to a consumer carrier, and a /24 block trades at about $25 to $35 per IP in 2026. Carrier ownership is what makes sites trust the IP. CleanProxies rents dedicated US carrier IPs on Cox, Spectrum, Frontier, Verizon, Comcast and RCN as low as $0.75/IP.
Steady, heavy traffic on a fixed set of IPs favours per-IP pricing, because unlimited-bandwidth ISP proxies cost the same however much you send. Wide, diverse traffic across many locations favours per-GB residential. CleanProxies sells both from one balance.
Fair-use bandwidth caps, IPs shared with other customers, data that expires monthly, VAT added at checkout, minimum plan sizes, subscription commitments needed to reach the best rate, and restricted target categories.
US ISP proxies as low as $0.75/IP with unlimited bandwidth, ISP subnets from $1.19/IP, rotating residential as low as $0.63/GB, mobile as low as $0.79/GB, VPS from $24/month and bare metal from $125/month. A $4.99 trial gives you 5 ISP proxies for 1 hour or 100 MB of residential or mobile data.
