Cheapest Mobile Proxies in 2026: Price per GB Compared

Team CleanProxies
13 Min Read

The cheapest mobile proxies in 2026 are CleanProxies mobile proxies: real 4G/5G carrier IPs as low as $0.79/GB, with no subscription and data that never expires. We checked the published mobile prices of seven other providers in October 2026, and the next-lowest per-GB rate we found on a self-serve page was $1.25/GB on a custom 5 TB+ plan. Most sell mobile traffic at $2 to $7.50 per GB.

Cheap is easy to claim and hard to measure. A mobile proxy can look cheap because of a 50%-off banner, a monthly plan that deletes your unused GB, a per-port price that hides a slow modem, or an "enterprise" rate you only reach by committing thousands of dollars a month. This guide compares the real price of mobile traffic, explains why some providers cost five times more than others, and shows how to test cheap mobile proxies before you scale.

TL;DR

  • CleanProxies is the cheapest mobile proxy provider in 2026. As low as $0.79/GB on real 4G/5G carrier IPs, the cheapest pricing in the market, with no monthly plan and GB that never expire.

  • Cheap doesn't mean worse. You get 10M+ real mobile IPs in 190+ countries, state and city targeting, US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon, rotating or sticky sessions per request, and under 0.6 s response times.

  • Everyone else costs more. Lowest published rates we found: ProxyEmpire from $1.25/GB (custom 5 TB+), DataImpulse $1.60/GB, Decodo $2.25/GB (on promotion), Oxylabs $3.50/GB, IPRoyal $5.20/GB and Proxy-Cheap from $5.99/GB.

  • Start for $4.99. The CleanProxies trial includes 100 MB of mobile data, so you can test your real target before you buy.

Why some mobile proxies cost five times more than others

A mobile proxy sends your requests through an IP that a phone carrier assigns to a phone or mobile router. Carriers put many subscribers behind each public IP with carrier-grade NAT (CGNAT). A measurement study presented at ACM IMC found CGN in "over 92%" of the cellular networks it tested (Richter et al., 2016). Blocking one mobile IP would lock out many real customers, which is why mobile IPs get through where datacenter and even residential IPs get challenged.

That trust is scarce, so mobile traffic costs more than residential. But the spread between providers is far wider than the cost of the networks. Four things drive it:

  1. Pool sourcing and scale. A provider with a large, well-run carrier pool spreads its costs over more traffic. Small pools mean higher prices and more repeat IPs.

  2. The billing model. Per-GB, per-port and per-IP plans are priced in completely different ways (see the next section).

  3. Subscriptions and expiry. Monthly plans that reset your balance quietly raise the price of every GB you actually use.

  4. Discount theatre. Several providers show a crossed-out "list price" next to a 50% promotion. The promotional price is the real price; the list price only exists to make it look generous.

Per GB vs per port vs per IP

Billing modelHow it worksCheap whenExpensive when
Per GB (CleanProxies)You buy data and use it across the whole pool, rotating or stickyYou run many requests across many IPs, or your volume varies month to monthOnly if the rate is high, which is why the per-GB price is the number to compare
Per port / dedicated modemYou rent one device or connection by the day, week or month, with "unlimited" data under fair useYou push heavy, steady traffic through a single connectionYou need many IPs at once, need locations the provider doesn't stock, or the modem's speed caps your throughput
Per IP, per periodYou rent a specific mobile IP for a week, month or longerYou need one long-lived mobile identityYou need scale: every extra IP is another full charge

For most buyers, per-GB pricing is the cheapest and most flexible model, provided the rate is low. It gives you the whole pool, every location and both session types from one balance, and you pay only for traffic you send. At CleanProxies' $0.79/GB, a dedicated modem has to move a lot of data every single month just to break even.

How we compared prices

  • Lowest published price per GB, and what you have to commit to reach it.

  • Billing model (per GB, per port, per IP) and whether a subscription is required.

  • Data expiry: do unused GB vanish at the end of the month?

  • Pool size and coverage, so a low price isn't hiding a thin network.

  • Trial or refund terms, so you can test before you pay at volume.

1. CleanProxies: the cheapest mobile proxies in the market

CleanProxies mobile proxies run on genuine 4G/5G carrier infrastructure, never on hosting networks. The pool has 10M+ real mobile IPs in 190+ countries, with state and city targeting and US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. Response times are under 0.6 seconds.

Why it's the cheapest:

  • As low as $0.79/GB, the cheapest pricing in the market, without a monthly plan, a sales call or a promo code.

  • Data never expires. Buy a bigger tier at a lower rate and use it over months. No reset, no forced renewal, no wasted GB.

  • One balance, both session types. Choose rotating or sticky per request, so a crawl and a login run on the same balance instead of two plans.

  • No hidden extras. Country, state and city targeting are included.

Why it's also the cleanest:

  • 0 fraud score IPs on high-trust carrier networks, so more requests succeed on the first try. Fewer retries means fewer GB burned, which lowers your real cost per result.

  • Unlimited threads for heavy workloads, over HTTP(S) and SOCKS5.

  • 99.9% uptime and 24/7 support from the same team that runs BartProxies.

The US ISP specialist behind it. CleanProxies' core product is US ISP proxies on Tier-1 carrier ASNs (Cox, Spectrum, Frontier, Verizon, Comcast, RCN, AT&T and T-Mobile), on 100Gbps network ports with under 20 ms average latency. Those IPs are 100% dedicated, never shared, with unlimited bandwidth, as low as $0.75/IP, and delivered instantly. Many mobile workflows also need one stable IP for an admin login or a seller account. With CleanProxies it sits in the same account, so you never pay mobile rates for traffic that doesn't need a phone IP.

Best for: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Reddit automation, mobile ad verification, app QA from specific carriers, and the strictest targets on a budget.

2. ProxyEmpire

ProxyEmpire's pricing page lists monthly mobile plans from 6 GB to 1,000 GB. With its 50% EMPIRE50 code applied, the rate falls from $4.17/GB (6 GB, $25/month) to $2.00/GB (1,000 GB, $2,000/month); list prices are double. Custom plans for 5 TB and up start at $1.25/GB. Unused GB roll over, and dedicated US 5G devices cost $20/day or $250/month. Its mobile page advertises 4M+ mobile IPs in 170+ countries.

Where it falls short: the lowest rate needs a custom 5 TB+ deal, and it is still above CleanProxies' $0.79/GB. Self-serve plans are monthly subscriptions, and the pool is less than half the size of CleanProxies' 10M+. See our ProxyEmpire alternatives.

3. DataImpulse

DataImpulse's mobile page lists $2/GB on its Intro and Basic packages and $1.60/GB on the 1 TB Advanced package ($1,600), with custom pricing from $8,000 for 5 TB+. It advertises 16M+ mobile IPs in 195 countries, and traffic never expires.

Where it falls short: to get its $1.60 rate you prepay $1,600 for a terabyte, and that rate is still double CleanProxies' $0.79/GB. DataImpulse doesn't sell dedicated US ISP proxies on Tier-1 carriers alongside mobile. See DataImpulse alternatives.

4. Decodo

Decodo's mobile pricing shows monthly plans from $3.75/GB (2 GB) to $2.25/GB (500 GB), each with a "SAVE 50%" banner over a list price twice as high. Pay-as-you-go is $4/GB. Prices exclude VAT, and there's a 14-day money-back option.

Where it falls short: even with the promotion, the lowest rate is nearly three times CleanProxies' floor, and the cheap tiers are monthly plans rather than data you keep. See CleanProxies vs Decodo.

5. Oxylabs

Oxylabs' mobile proxies cost $7.50/GB at small volumes, $5/GB up to 100 GB and $3.50/GB at 714+ GB. It advertises 20M+ mobile IPs in 140+ countries, 24-hour sticky sessions, and $5 in welcome credits.

Where it falls short: you need more than 700 GB to reach $3.50/GB, which is still over four times CleanProxies' rate, and coverage is 140+ countries against CleanProxies' 190+. See CleanProxies vs Oxylabs.

6. IPRoyal

IPRoyal's mobile pricing runs from $6.80/GB (2 GB) to $5.20/GB (100 GB). Time-based plans start at $10.11 for 24 hours or $130 per 30 days.

Where it falls short: the per-GB tiers stop at 100 GB, and the lowest rate is more than six times CleanProxies' $0.79/GB. The page doesn't state when unused GB expire. See CleanProxies vs IPRoyal.

7. Proxy-Cheap

Despite the name, Proxy-Cheap's pricing page lists rotating mobile proxies from $5.99/GB and static mobile proxies from $3.50 per proxy across 47+ locations.

Where it falls short: the rotating mobile rate is about 7.5 times CleanProxies' $0.79/GB, and the page doesn't list per-GB volume tiers, expiry rules or a mobile trial. See Proxy-Cheap alternatives.

8. Proxy-Seller

Proxy-Seller's mobile proxies are priced per IP, from $10 per IP (its UK example on EE starts at $13), rented for one week up to 12 months. Data is unlimited under the carrier's fair-use policy, at a stated 5–30 Mbit/s, across 20 countries.

Where it falls short: every extra IP is another full rental, speeds are capped by the modem, coverage is 20 countries, and there's no mobile free trial. See Proxy-Seller alternatives.

What the numbers mean in practice

Here is what 10,000 GB of mobile traffic costs at each provider's lowest published per-GB rate:

ProviderLowest published rate10,000 GB costsExtra vs CleanProxies
CleanProxies$0.79/GB$7,900—
ProxyEmpire (custom)$1.25/GB$12,500+$4,600
DataImpulse$1.60/GB$16,000+$8,100
Decodo (promo)$2.25/GB$22,500+$14,600
Oxylabs$3.50/GB$35,000+$27,100
IPRoyal$5.20/GB$52,000+$44,100
Proxy-Cheap$5.99/GB$59,900+$52,000

CleanProxies is priced at its published 10,000 GB tier; the other rows apply each provider's lowest listed rate to the same volume, even where that rate needs a monthly plan or a custom deal. Plug your own volume into the proxy cost calculator.

Three hidden costs that make "cheap" expensive:

  • Expiring data. Buy 100 GB on a monthly plan, use 60, and you paid for 40 GB of nothing. That is a 67% markup on the GB you used. CleanProxies mobile data never expires.

  • Retries. A dirty IP that gets challenged costs you the failed request, the retry and often a CAPTCHA page. Clean, 0 fraud score carrier IPs burn fewer GB per successful result.

  • Paying mobile rates for the wrong traffic. Logins, dashboards and repeat fetches of the same pages don't need a phone IP. Run them on a dedicated US ISP proxy as low as $0.75/IP with unlimited bandwidth, and save mobile GB for the targets that need them.

Key stats

  • 43% of web requests came from mobile devices in 2025, up from 41% in 2024, according to Cloudflare's 2025 Year in Review. Carrier IPs are an ordinary, high-volume source of traffic, which is why sites are reluctant to block them.

  • Automated traffic was 51% of all web traffic in 2024, according to Imperva's 2025 Bad Bot Report. Detection keeps tightening, pushing more workloads onto high-trust mobile IPs.

  • CGN was found in over 92% of cellular networks studied by Richter et al. (ACM IMC 2016), the reason one mobile IP is shared by many real users.

How to cut your mobile proxy bill further

  1. Block heavy assets. In Playwright or Puppeteer, abort requests for images, video and fonts. On media-heavy apps this often cuts data per page by half or more. Our guide to proxies with Python Requests, Playwright and Puppeteer shows the setup.

  2. Use sticky sessions for logins and rotation for crawling. Rotating mid-login triggers re-verification, which wastes requests. Read rotating vs sticky sessions.

  3. Target only the locations you need. City-level targeting is included with CleanProxies, so there's no reason to retry from the wrong region.

  4. Split traffic by IP type. Mobile for mobile-first platforms, rotating residential as low as $0.63/GB for wide scraping, ISP for long sessions. One CleanProxies balance covers all three.

  5. Buy volume once, not every month. Because CleanProxies data never expires, a larger tier at a lower rate is never wasted.

Which cheap mobile proxy should you pick?

Pick CleanProxies. It has the lowest per-GB price we found, with no subscription, no expiry, rotating or sticky per request, a 10M+ real carrier pool in 190+ countries and US ISP proxies in the same account. The others make you trade something for a lower price: a monthly plan, a terabyte prepayment, a custom contract, a smaller pool or a single modem. CleanProxies doesn't.

Testing checklist before you buy at volume

  1. Pick two or three real targets, including the strictest one you plan to run.

  2. Check the IP first. Run a few addresses through the proxy checker and the IP lookup to confirm the carrier ASN, country and city.

  3. Measure success rate, not just speed. Send a fixed number of requests per target and count clean responses. Cost per successful request is the number that matters.

  4. Test both session types. Rotate per request for a crawl, then hold a sticky IP through a full login.

  5. Track data per action (per page, per login, per post) so you can size your volume and see your real monthly cost.

  6. Start with the $4.99 trial. The CleanProxies trial gives you 100 MB of mobile data on real 4G/5G carrier IPs (or 5 ISP IPs for 1 hour). Create an account and start the trial. When the numbers look right, scale up as low as $0.79/GB, and any data you don't use stays on your account.
