Best Proxies for Amazon Sellers and Price Monitoring (2026)
Amazon sellers live with two proxy problems. The first is access: a team spread across homes, coworking spaces and countries keeps triggering Seller Central security checks, and a virtual assistant abroad logging into a US account looks exactly like the account takeovers Amazon is built to stop. The second is visibility: you need to know what competitors and resellers charge across the retailers you sell on, by region, every day. Both need proxies. They need very different ones, and getting either wrong costs you an account or a month of bad data.
This guide covers which proxy type fits each seller job, the rules that decide the setup, and what it costs to run.
TL;DR
For Seller Central and Vendor Central, give each person or office one dedicated static US ISP proxy, so the account always signs in from the same American carrier address.
For price monitoring, use Amazon's own APIs for Amazon data, and rotating residential proxies with US state targeting for public pricing on retailers whose terms allow automated collection.
CleanProxies is our recommendation for both. It specializes in US ISP proxies on Tier-1 carriers (Cox, Spectrum, Frontier, Verizon, Comcast, RCN, AT&T and T-Mobile), 100% dedicated with a 0 fraud score, from $0.75/IP, the cheapest pricing in the market; residential goes as low as $0.63/GB and never expires.

Start with the rules, because they decide the setup
Amazon's own data. Amazon's Conditions of Use exclude data mining, robots and similar data-gathering tools from the licence they give shoppers, so we don't recommend scraping Amazon. Amazon offers official routes instead: the Selling Partner API (SP-API) for sellers, covering your catalog, orders and the pricing and offers on items you sell, and the Creators API for Associates, which replaced Product Advertising API 5.0 in 2026. Licensed data vendors are a third option.
Seller accounts. Amazon limits how many seller accounts one business may run without approval and links accounts that share details. A proxy doesn't change that. Use it to give your team a consistent, secure login location, never to run unapproved accounts or get around a suspension.
Other retailers. Rules vary by site. Many large retailers and marketplaces, including eBay, Best Buy and Walmart, run developer or affiliate APIs. Where a site allows automated access to public pages, follow its robots rules and rate limits and collect only public data.
What ISP proxies are, and why carrier IPs matter for sellers
An ISP proxy is a static IPv4 address registered to a consumer internet provider and hosted on server hardware. When Amazon or any other platform looks up the IP, it sees a home-broadband carrier like Comcast, Spectrum or Verizon, not a cloud host. Because it's static, every login comes from the same place, which is exactly what a real US office looks like.
Seller platforms build a trust profile from login location, how often it changes and the IP's history. A dedicated carrier IP with a 0 fraud score, used only by your team, gives the account a stable, clean home address.
CleanProxies: the US ISP proxy specialist
CleanProxies sells what it calls the cleanest ISP proxies on the internet, and US ISP is its specialty. Every ISP proxy is a real USA IP on Cox, Spectrum, Frontier, Verizon, Comcast or RCN, plus AT&T and T-Mobile:
100% dedicated, never shared, and yours for as long as you renew.
0 fraud score IPs, screened before delivery.
100Gbps ports, under 20 ms average latency, 99.9% uptime.
Unlimited bandwidth and threads.
Free replacements if an IP is ever blocked or unusable.
As low as $0.75/IP, the cheapest pricing in the market, with instant delivery.
For monitoring, CleanProxies rotating residential has 19.7 million US IPs in a 50M+ pool, state and city targeting, sticky sessions up to 90 minutes, and data that never expires, as low as $0.63/GB. VPS servers in the same Virginia data center run your collector next to the proxies. Support is 24/7, from the team that also runs BartProxies.

Job 1: Seller Central and Vendor Central access
Problem: your team logs in from different homes, coffee shops and countries, and every new location can trigger a security check. Virtual assistants abroad look especially unusual on a US account.
Solution: one static US ISP proxy per person or office. Each is a dedicated US carrier IP that stays the same for as long as you renew, so the account sees the same US location every day, like a single office. Prices fall with volume, as low as $0.75/IP.
Setup tips:
Choose a US state that matches your business address and keep it.
Don't share a Seller Central IP with any automated traffic.
Store each IP in your browser profile or password manager so nobody logs in without it.
If an IP is ever replaced, expect Amazon to ask for verification, as it would after any move.
Agencies managing several client brands should give each client's team its own set of IPs, documented with the client's written authorisation, so one brand's logins never share an address with another's. With CleanProxies, adding IPs for a new client takes minutes and the per-IP price keeps falling as your total grows.
Job 2: Seeing your listings and ads the way shoppers do
Amazon shows different delivery dates, shipping fees and sometimes offers depending on the "Deliver to" location, and ad placements vary by market. For a manual, occasional check, open a browser profile with a rotating residential sticky session targeted to the state or city, set the delivery ZIP on the page, and look. A few checks a day use very little data, and CleanProxies GB never expire. For campaign checks at scale, see our ad verification page.
Job 3: Price monitoring across retailers
A typical seller or brand tracks competitors' prices on other marketplaces, authorised resellers' prices against a minimum advertised price (MAP) policy, and stock and delivery promises on major US retailers.
Recommended setup:
Use an official API wherever one exists. For Amazon, SP-API's pricing operations or a licensed data provider. For eBay, Best Buy and Walmart, check their developer or affiliate programs first.
For public pages on sites that permit it, use rotating residential proxies with US state targeting, aimed at the states you sell into.
Use a sticky session per product while you set a location and read the price, then rotate for the next product.
Fetch HTML or JSON only. Block images, fonts and video.
Run the collector on a server near the proxies, such as a CleanProxies VPS in Virginia.
Our pages for Walmart, eBay, Best Buy and Target cover site-specific tips, and the price aggregation page covers the overall workflow.
What the numbers mean in practice
Monitoring traffic. These volumes are illustrative assumptions; real page sizes vary by site.
| Scenario | Monthly pages | Assumed size (assets blocked) | Data per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2,000 SKUs, once a day | 60,000 | 0.4 MB | ~24 GB |
| 5,000 SKUs, twice a day | 300,000 | 0.4 MB | ~120 GB |
| 20,000 SKUs, twice a day | 1.2 million | 0.4 MB | ~480 GB |
Because CleanProxies residential data never expires, you can buy a larger tier at a lower per-GB rate and use it over several months. For example, a 1,000 GB purchase ($840) covers about two months of the largest scenario above, and at the 10,000 GB tier the rate drops to $0.63/GB. For how this compares to other providers, see how much proxies cost.
Why not mobile or datacenter? Mobile works, and CleanProxies mobile goes as low as $0.79/GB, but residential is cheaper still and price monitoring doesn't need carrier IPs. Large retailers block hosting ranges first, so datacenter savings disappear in retries.
Key stats:
Retail is the top target of AI-driven bots. The Thales 2026 Bad Bot Report names retail as the sector most targeted by AI-driven bots, citing dynamic pricing, limited inventory and high-demand promotions. Daily AI-driven bot attacks rose from 2 million to 25 million between 2024 and 2025.
Online sales keep growing. E-commerce reached 17.1% of total US retail sales in Q2 2026, according to Census Bureau data on FRED.
Most bot traffic comes from the US. Cloudflare found 40% of global bot traffic in 2025 came from the United States (2025 Year in Review), so US retailers filter hard. Consumer-carrier IPs at a polite pace get through where hosting IPs don't.
Page weight drives cost. The median mobile home page is 2.56 MB (HTTP Archive Web Almanac 2025). Blocking assets is the cheapest optimisation you'll make.
Good practice that keeps monitoring reliable
Respect rate limits. A steady pace with small random delays beats bursts that trigger blocks and waste GB.
Detect block and challenge pages before you store a price, so a CAPTCHA page never becomes a "price of zero."
Log the IP, location and timestamp with every price.
Re-fetch only what changes. Prices and stock change hourly; descriptions and images rarely do.
Which provider should you pick?
Pick CleanProxies. It covers both seller jobs from one account: dedicated US ISP IPs on named Tier-1 carriers for your team's logins, and a 19.7-million-IP US residential pool with state targeting for monitoring, at the cheapest pricing in the market. Here's what to look for, and how CleanProxies answers:

Real US consumer carriers. Cox, Spectrum, Frontier, Verizon, Comcast, RCN, AT&T and T-Mobile.
State or city targeting on residential, so regional prices are the ones you record.
No expiring data. Monitoring volume swings with your catalog and the season.
Clear bandwidth terms. Unlimited on ISP proxies.

Frequently Asked Questions
One dedicated static US ISP proxy per person or office, so the account always signs in from the same American address. CleanProxies ISP proxies are real USA IPs on Tier-1 carriers like Cox, Spectrum, Frontier, Verizon, Comcast and RCN, 100% dedicated with a 0 fraud score, from $0.75/IP.
We don't recommend it. Amazon's Conditions of Use exclude data mining, robots and similar tools from the licence they give shoppers. Use the Selling Partner API for your own catalog, orders and pricing, the Creators API for Associates, or a licensed data provider.
Rotating residential proxies with US state targeting, on retailers whose terms allow automated collection of public pages. CleanProxies residential has 19.7 million US IPs with state and city targeting, as low as $0.63/GB, and the data never expires.
It depends on page size. With images, fonts and video blocked, a product page often comes in under 0.5 MB, so 1.2 million page loads a month uses roughly 480 GB. Because CleanProxies GB never expire, you can buy a larger tier at a lower rate and use it over several months.
The Creators API replaced Product Advertising API 5.0 in 2026, according to Amazon's Associates documentation.
