CleanProxies vs Webshare: Which Proxy Provider Is Better in 2026?
Webshare built its name on cheap, self-serve proxies: sign up, pay by card, and you're connected in minutes. That's a great on-ramp. The trouble starts when a project grows. Static plans come with a bandwidth allowance that has to be spread across every IP, speeds are quoted "up to 1 Gbps," residential data is sold as monthly plans that auto-renew, and there's no mobile product on the pricing page. For teams running real US workloads, the cheap sticker price turns into allowance math and a second vendor.
This comparison puts CleanProxies and Webshare side by side on the things that decide cost and results: carriers, bandwidth rules, speed, IP quality and price. Webshare's figures come from its own pricing, static residential and residential pages, checked in October 2026.
TL;DR
CleanProxies wins on US ISP proxies. Real Tier-1 carrier IPs (Cox, Spectrum, Frontier, Verizon, Comcast, RCN, AT&T and T-Mobile), 100% dedicated with 0 fraud score, as low as $0.75/IP, the cheapest pricing in the market.
CleanProxies wins on bandwidth and speed. No bandwidth allowance at all on ISP proxies, unlimited threads, 100Gbps ports and under 20 ms average latency. Webshare static plans start from 250 GB, with speeds "up to 1 Gbps."
CleanProxies wins on residential and range. Residential as low as $0.63/GB vs Webshare's $1.40, data that never expires, plus real 4G/5G mobile, /24 subnets and servers, none of which Webshare lists.

What ISP proxies are, and why carrier IPs matter
An ISP proxy, which Webshare calls a static residential proxy, is an IPv4 address registered to a consumer internet provider and hosted on server hardware. Sites look up its ASN, see a home-broadband carrier such as Comcast or Cox, and treat it like a real household. You keep the same IP for as long as you rent it, at server speed.
The value of an ISP proxy comes from three things: the carrier behind it, how clean it is, and how much work you can push through it. A clean carrier IP with a bandwidth allowance is a great IP you can only use part of the time. That's why the bandwidth clause deserves as much attention as the price.
CleanProxies: the US ISP proxy specialist
CleanProxies sells what it calls the cleanest ISP proxies on the internet, and its specialty is US ISP. Every ISP proxy is a real USA IP on a Tier-1 carrier ASN: Cox, Spectrum, Frontier, Verizon, Comcast and RCN, plus AT&T and T-Mobile. It runs on 100Gbps ports in Ashburn, Virginia, with under 20 ms average latency and 99.9% uptime, from the same team that runs BartProxies.
ISP proxies:
Unlimited bandwidth and threads. No GB allowance, no fair-use step-down, no overage charges.
0 fraud score IPs, screened before delivery.
100% dedicated, never shared.
HTTP(S) and SOCKS5, with UDP for compatible applications.
Free replacements if an IP is blocked or unusable.
As low as $0.75/IP, with published pricing to 10,000 IPs and instant delivery.
ISP subnets: whole /24 blocks of 255, 510 or 1,020 dedicated IPs, from $1.19/IP, which helps when a partner or target whitelists by range. Read what ISP subnet proxies are.
Rotating residential: 50M+ IPs in 190+ countries, 19.7 million in the US, with city and state targeting, sticky sessions up to 90 minutes and GB that never expire. As low as $0.63/GB.
Mobile: 10M+ real 4G/5G IPs on AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and more. As low as $0.79/GB, never expires. See why mobile IPs are so hard to block.
Servers: VPS from $24/month and bare metal from $125/month in the same Virginia data center.
Support: 24/7 dedicated support at help@cleanproxies.com.
Webshare: what it sells, and where it falls short
Static residential (ISP) proxies. Webshare prices static proxies per proxy, with HTTP and SOCKS5 and 500 to 3,000 threads. Carriers mentioned on the page include AT&T, Sprint, Cox, Comcast and RCN, varying by section.
Where it falls short:
A bandwidth allowance. Static plans "start from 250GB." Spread across 100 IPs, that's 2.5 GB per IP per month. More is available under a fair-usage policy.
Speed. Webshare quotes speeds "up to 1 Gbps." CleanProxies ports are 100Gbps.
Thread limits. 500 to 3,000 threads, against unlimited at CleanProxies.
No subnets. Whole /24 blocks aren't listed.
Refund window. Refunds are possible within 2 days if usage is under 1 GB.
Residential. $3.50/GB at 1 GB, falling through $2.25 at 100 GB to $1.40 at 3,000 GB, billed as monthly plans. It lists 80M+ IPs in 195 countries with country, state, city, ZIP and ASN targeting.
Where it falls short: plans auto-renew monthly, and the page doesn't say whether unused GB carry over. The lowest rate, $1.40/GB at 3,000 GB, is more than double CleanProxies' $0.63 floor.
Mobile and servers. Not listed on Webshare's pricing page. Teams that need carrier IPs or a server next to their proxies need a second vendor.
Self-serve on both, with a different ceiling
Both companies are fully self-serve. You sign up, pay by card and get credentials in the dashboard without talking to sales, so the published prices are what most buyers actually pay. The difference is where the ceiling sits as you grow.
On Webshare, growth means a bigger bandwidth allowance, more threads and a second vendor for mobile or servers. On CleanProxies, growth just means more IPs or more GB: bandwidth and threads on ISP proxies are already unlimited, prices keep falling with volume down to $0.75/IP and $0.63/GB, and mobile, subnets and servers sit in the same account and balance.
Who CleanProxies is built for
Checkout and drop teams who need clean US carrier IPs on 100Gbps with under 20 ms average latency.
Account managers who want one dedicated, 0 fraud score IP per account, on Amazon, Walmart or social platforms.
Scraping teams who move serious traffic through static IPs and don't want to count GB.
Agencies who need ISP, residential and mobile in one dashboard with 24/7 support.
What the numbers mean in practice
Do the allowance math. A 250 GB static plan across 100 IPs gives each IP 2.5 GB a month. The 2025 Web Almanac puts the median home page at 2.56 MB on mobile and 2.86 MB on desktop. So 2.5 GB covers roughly a thousand full page loads per IP per month, about 33 a day. Logins and dashboards fit inside that. Product monitoring, image-heavy crawls and headless browsers don't.
Unlimited means predictable. With CleanProxies, an ISP proxy that moves 1 GB and one that moves 2 TB cost the same, as low as $0.75/IP. Your bill doesn't depend on how busy the month was.
Speed is concurrency. "Up to 1 Gbps" is shared across everything you run. A 100Gbps port with under 20 ms average latency keeps hundreds of threads moving without queuing.
Carrier names are only half the story. Both providers mention big US carriers. What decides your results is whether the specific IP you get is fresh, dedicated and clean on day one. CleanProxies screens every ISP IP for a 0 fraud score before delivery and replaces it free if it's ever blocked.
Non-expiring data saves real money. Scraping volume is bursty. With monthly plans that reset, a quiet month wastes paid GB. CleanProxies residential is a one-time purchase that never expires, so every GB gets used.
| Lowest listed price | CleanProxies | Webshare |
|---|---|---|
| ISP bandwidth | Unlimited | 250 GB allowance to start |
| Rotating residential | $0.63/GB | $1.40/GB |
| Mobile | $0.79/GB | Not listed |
Key stats:
51% of web traffic in 2024 was automated and 37% was malicious bots, per Imperva's 2025 Bad Bot Report. Anti-bot systems distrust hosting ranges first, which is why carrier-owned ISP IPs get through.
A /24 of IPv4 space trades at about $25–35 per IP in 2026, according to IPv4.Center. CleanProxies rents dedicated carrier IPs as low as $0.75 per IP per month.

Mobile and servers close the loop. Teams that start on Webshare often add a mobile provider and a hosting provider later. With CleanProxies, real 4G/5G mobile and VPS or bare-metal servers in the same data center are already in your dashboard.

What to test before you commit
Estimate GB per static IP. Run a week of real traffic through a few IPs and measure. If the number is more than a couple of GB, any allowance is a problem.

Load-test at your real thread count and watch for queuing or errors.
Move bandwidth-heavy static jobs first. Those are the ones most likely to hit an allowance. Swap host, port and credentials; both providers support HTTP and SOCKS5.
