CleanProxies vs Byteful: Prices, Features and Which to Choose (2026)
Byteful is a popular name with buyers who want static, residential and mobile proxies from one dashboard. But once you scale past a hundred IPs, three problems show up fast: the published pricing stops and you're sent to a custom quote, static IPs that get burned can't be replaced until renewal, and per-GB rates stay well above $2.50. If you're running US checkouts, accounts or scrapers on static IPs, those three things decide your monthly bill and your success rate.
This comparison puts CleanProxies and Byteful side by side on what matters for US ISP proxy buyers: carriers, speed, latency, uptime, IP quality, bandwidth rules, replacements and price. Byteful's figures come from its own public pages, checked in October 2026 and linked below.
TL;DR
CleanProxies wins on US ISP proxies. Real Tier-1 carrier IPs (Cox, Spectrum, Frontier, Verizon, Comcast, RCN, AT&T and T-Mobile), 100% dedicated with 0 fraud score, on 100Gbps ports with under 20 ms average latency and 99.9% uptime.
CleanProxies wins on price, everywhere. The cheapest pricing in the market: ISP as low as $0.75/IP vs Byteful's $2.75, residential as low as $0.63/GB vs $2.75, mobile as low as $0.79/GB vs $3.45.
CleanProxies wins on terms. Free IP replacements (Byteful offers none in-term on static), no fair-use clause on ISP traffic, published prices to 10,000 units, and VPS and bare-metal servers next to the proxies.

What ISP proxies are, and why carrier IPs matter
An ISP proxy is a static IPv4 address registered to a consumer internet provider but hosted on server hardware. When a site checks the IP, it sees the ASN of a home-broadband carrier like Comcast or Spectrum, not a cloud host, so the request starts with a high trust score. And because it's hosted in a data center, the IP is fast and never changes.
Two things decide how well an ISP proxy performs. The first is who owns the ASN: a named US Tier-1 carrier carries far more trust than an unnamed "ISP" range. The second is the IP's history: a fresh, dedicated IP with a 0 fraud score passes checks that a recycled, shared one fails. Speed matters too, because checkouts and drops are won in milliseconds. That's where the two providers differ most.
CleanProxies: the US ISP proxy specialist
CleanProxies sells what it calls the cleanest ISP proxies on the internet, and its focus is the US. Every ISP proxy is a real USA IP on a Tier-1 carrier ASN: Cox, Spectrum, Frontier, Verizon, Comcast and RCN, plus AT&T and T-Mobile. The network runs on 100Gbps ports in Ashburn, Virginia, with under 20 ms average latency and 99.9% uptime, and it's built by the same team that runs BartProxies.
ISP proxies:
0 fraud score IPs, screened for reputation before delivery.
100% dedicated, never shared, and yours for as long as you renew.
Unlimited bandwidth and threads, with no fair-use step-down and no overage charges.
Free replacements if an IP is ever blocked or unusable.
HTTP(S) and SOCKS5, with UDP for compatible applications.
Instant delivery and published prices all the way to 10,000 IPs, as low as $0.75/IP.
ISP subnets: whole /24 blocks of 255, 510 or 1,020 dedicated IPs, from $1.19/IP, for teams that whitelist by range.
Rotating residential: 50M+ IPs in 190+ countries, including 19.7 million in the US, with city and state targeting, rotation per request or per session, sticky sessions up to 90 minutes, and data that never expires. As low as $0.63/GB.
Mobile: 10M+ real 4G/5G IPs on carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon, with state and city targeting and data that never expires. As low as $0.79/GB.
Servers: VPS from $24/month and bare metal from $125/month in the same Virginia data center, so your bot runs a few hops from its IPs.
Support: 24/7 dedicated support at help@cleanproxies.com.
Byteful: what it sells, and where it falls short
Byteful sells static residential, rotating residential and mobile proxies, with country coverage across 15+ countries for static IPs and 195+ for residential and mobile.
Static (ISP) proxies. Byteful lists three volumes: 10 IPs at $3.00 each, 25 at $2.85 and 100 at $2.75, then quotes custom prices. Bandwidth is unlimited "subject to our fair usage policy." Speed is described as "1G+" on 10G uplinks.
Where it falls short:
No in-term replacements. Byteful's static residential page says it does "not offer in-term proxy replacements for Static Proxies," except for rare force-majeure events. If a target burns your IP, you live with it until renewal.
Price. Its lowest published static price, $2.75, is more than three and a half times CleanProxies' floor.
Published pricing stops at 100. Above that, you wait for a quote.
No named US carriers, no published fraud score, latency or uptime figure on the pages we checked.
Residential. $3.25/GB at 10 GB down to $2.75/GB at 100 GB, with custom pricing beyond, 35M+ IPs in 195+ countries, ISP/ASN targeting and non-expiring bandwidth. The lowest published rate is more than four times CleanProxies' floor.
Mobile. $4.25/GB at 10 GB, $3.85 at 25 GB and $3.45 at 100 GB, on 6M+ IPs. CleanProxies' pool is larger (10M+) and its floor ($0.79/GB) is a fraction of the price.
Why fresh, dedicated static IPs matter
A static IP builds a reputation over time. Every login, checkout and request from it is remembered by the sites you use. That's a strength when the IP is clean and yours alone, and a liability when it isn't. CleanProxies sources fresh ISP inventory on major US carrier ASNs, spread across hundreds of unique subnets, and screens every address before delivery, so each IP starts with a 0 fraud score and a clean history. Because it's 100% dedicated, nobody else's traffic can undo that.
The replacement policy is the other half. Even a clean IP can get flagged on an aggressive target. With free replacements, a burned IP is a two-minute support ticket. Without them, it's a month of paying for an address that no longer works.
Switching from Byteful
Moving over is mostly a credentials swap, because both providers use standard HTTP(S) and SOCKS5 endpoints with username and password:
Map your products. Static residential to CleanProxies ISP proxies, residential to rotating residential, mobile to mobile proxies.
Size your first order from last month's usage. CleanProxies GB never expire, so you can buy a larger tier at a lower per-GB rate without a monthly reset.
Export your new lines from the dashboard and paste them into your tools.
Move long residential sessions to static IPs. If you relied on long sticky sessions, a dedicated ISP proxy holds the same IP with no session limit at all.
Compare success rates for a day, then move the rest of your traffic.
What the numbers mean in practice
| Lowest published price | CleanProxies | Byteful | CleanProxies saving |
|---|---|---|---|
| ISP proxies (per IP) | $0.75 | $2.75 | 73% less |
| Rotating residential (per GB) | $0.63 | $2.75 | 77% less |
| Mobile (per GB) | $0.79 | $3.45 | 77% less |
Replacements change your real cost. Say 5% of your static IPs get burned on a strict target in a month. With CleanProxies, you swap them free and keep running. With no in-term replacements, those IPs are dead weight you still pay for, and you buy more to cover the gap.
Fair-use language is a future bill. "Unlimited, subject to fair use" means someone else decides when you've used too much. CleanProxies ISP traffic has no such clause, so a heavy month costs exactly what a quiet one does.
Speed matters on drops. A 100Gbps port with under 20 ms average latency gets your checkout request to the server before slower setups finish their handshake. On "1G+" speeds, many threads sharing a subnet start to queue.
Key stats to weigh:
Automated traffic reached 51% of all web traffic in 2024, and bad bots 37%, according to Imperva's 2025 Bad Bot Report. The same report found 44% of advanced bot traffic targeted APIs. Sites are tightening IP checks, so carrier ownership and clean history matter more each year.
43% of web requests came from mobile devices in 2025, per Cloudflare's 2025 Year in Review. That's why real carrier mobile IPs blend in so well.

What to test before you commit
Check the carrier. Run a sample of IPs through our free proxy checker. The ISP should be a named US consumer carrier, not a host.
Confirm the location and fraud score match what you paid for.
Measure latency and success rate on your real target. Send the same number of requests through each provider and count clean responses.
Ask what happens when an IP burns. Free replacement or not changes your real cost per working IP.
Swap credentials, not code. Both providers support HTTP(S) and SOCKS5 with username and password. Our proxy list formatter converts lists into your tool's format.
Start with the $4.99 trial. The CleanProxies trial gives you 5 US ISP proxies for 1 hour, or 100 MB of residential or mobile data. Run it side by side with Byteful for a day, then move your traffic.
