Start with the Web API
The Spotify Web API takes a market parameter that returns track and album availability for a given country. Use it for availability checks before opening the web player.
Labels, artist teams and marketers need to know what Spotify shows in each country: whether a release is available, which editorial playlists carry it, how search ranks it and which ads play. Spotify's own Web API answers part of this without any proxy. A proxy fills in what a listener in that market actually sees.
How Spotify localises, limits and checks traffic, and what that means for your setup.

Home shelves, editorial playlists and search results are localised by country and language. Country targeting is the right level; city targeting adds nothing here.
Each Spotify account is tied to a country. Run each check on a test account that belongs to that market, such as one held by your team or a partner there, and never move an account between countries.
Ads play for Free accounts, not Premium. Ad checks need a Free test account in the target market.
Our recommendation for Spotify, and when the second option is the better choice.
Spotify's catalogue, home page and editorial playlists are set per market. Rotating residential proxies in 190+ countries let a test session open the web player from each market, with a sticky session holding one IP for the whole check.
Residential IPs in 190+ countries with country, state and city targeting. Rotate on every request or hold a sticky session for up to 90 minutes; GB never expire.
Audio and podcast ads mostly reach Free listeners on phones. Mobile proxies targeted to a country show what a phone on a local carrier network gets, for ad verification in that market.
4G/5G IPs on mobile carrier networks in 150+ countries, rotating or sticky, for traffic that should look like a phone.
Every CleanProxies proxy connects over HTTP(S) with the credentials in your dashboard; ISP and ISP subnet proxies also run SOCKS5. Test them with the free proxy checker and convert lists with the proxy list formatter.
Call the Web API with the market parameter for each country to confirm availability and pull track and playlist data.
For playlists, search and home shelves, use a residential sticky session targeted to the country, with a test account from that market.
Verify audio and podcast ads from a Free test account on a mobile proxy targeted to the same country.
Load pages and pause playback unless the check is about the audio, so metered GB go further.
Spotify's terms forbid artificial streams, which it removes and can penalise, and forbid circumventing territorial restrictions. Using a proxy to sign up for another country's plan or pricing is against the rules, and we do not support it. Use proxies to check how your own releases and ads appear in each market. CleanProxies customers must follow our Terms of Service and the laws that apply to them; this page is general guidance, not legal advice.

No. Artificial streams break Spotify's rules; Spotify removes them and can penalise the tracks and distributors involved. We do not support stream bots.
