How to add CleanProxies to Octo Browser
In Octo Browser, click No proxy / VPN on a profile, choose Set new proxy / VPN and paste your CleanProxies line (for example http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT) into Host, then run Proxy check. For many proxies, use Bulk add in the proxy manager.
What you need
- An active CleanProxies plan: static ISP proxies for fixed US IPs, or rotating residential / mobile proxies for pools. The trial works too.
- Your credential line from the dashboard's proxy manager: host (or IP), port, username and password.
- Octo Browser installed and signed in (the proxy manager has a per-plan quota).

Most tools want the same details as a URL: http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT for HTTP(S) or socks5://USERNAME:PASSWORD@HOST:PORT for SOCKS5. The examples on this page use those placeholders; copy the host, port, username and password from your CleanProxies dashboard. To convert a whole list at once, paste it into the proxy list formatter.
How to set up CleanProxies in Octo Browser

Open the profile's proxy
In the profile list, click No proxy / VPN on the profile, then Set new proxy / VPN. In profile settings, the same choice is the Proxy / VPN field. - 2
Paste the line into Host
Paste the full line; Octo Browser splits it into protocol, host, port, login and password. - 3
Save it or keep it temporary
Tick Save to list to add it to the proxy manager, or leave it unticked for a one-off proxy. - 4
Run Proxy check
A green Available status with the country flag means it works; red Unavailable means it doesn't.

IP-dependent settings
- Time zone and languages follow the external IP at each launch.
- Geolocation and WebRTC default to Depends on IP; keep that default.
- The info icon on a proxy shows its IP, ISP, connection type, location and time zone, which is a quick way to confirm a CleanProxies ISP IP reads as a home ISP.
Static ISP vs rotating residential in Octo Browser
Static ISP proxies
Save each dedicated US ISP IP to the proxy manager and attach it to one profile. Because Octo re-reads the IP at launch, a static IP keeps the time zone and language identical every session.
Rotating residential proxies
Sticky residential lines suit temporary proxies for short jobs. Since Octo sets the time zone from the IP at launch, generate lines for the location you want each profile to appear in.
Verify your exit IP
Proxy check shows Available with the country, or Unavailable. Open the info icon for the full IP details, then launch the profile and confirm the IP before logging in.
Open What is my IP? through the proxy to see the address and headers a website receives, or paste up to ten lines into the free proxy checker to test connectivity, latency and exit IP before you start.
Troubleshooting Octo Browser proxy errors
